Just a few things I would like to know:
-how fast is it?
-are they going to remove the doors into nowhere (the ones at the sides)
-are thy going to use the front ramp?

- Fully loaded with cars and passengers she goes around 40-43 knots.
- The doors at the side is for passengers not in cars. (Idk if they gonna use those in Greece)
- The point of the front ramp and aft ramp, is cars drive straight in, and straight out. No reversing or anything inside the ferry
alexteehee10 I know that the doors at the sides are for passengers... they won’t use them in Greece I guess so I was just wondering if they will let them on... And the front ramp is actually something many ships have in Greece (like Blue Star 2) but they aren’t using them. So I was wondering if they will use them on this vessel. But 40knots is very impressive!
The doors for passengers are probably gonna be sealed off then, if they have no use!
And i just googled Blue Star 2, and i see no evidence of a front ramp. So it doesnt have a front ramp. Alot of traditionel ships like the Blue Star 2 just have aft ramps, but these catamarans have a front and aft ramp for fast loading and unloading! But yeah 40 knots is pretty fast. She has 2 x GE LM2500, 25000 hp each (like 18000 kW)! Her biggest weakness is a little tough weather.
alexteehee10 Sorry it was the Blue Star 1😬 there is a Video in UA-cam showing it while the bow is open. Well the engines are pretty powerful!!! And also I think the companys building these ships are currently working on making their ships more wave piercing... wasn’t this ship built by Incat?
i saw a same one in indian ocean but if they say it is the fastest i believe them
