Personally, I find Animal more problematic than Kabir Singh. In Kabir Singh, there was an arc of Kabir realizing his mistakes and redeeming them. From the start, his anger issues and substance consumption were foreshadowed, but in a small and controlled manner. Then, gradually, these things increased in the film. When it was bad enough to draw the line (the slap), Preeti kinda left him and got married. Other crap that was going on earlier, although it didn't appear to be, was consensual (at least in the director's mind; we can hope). After that point, his life just went downhill up to the point when he finally decided to quit smoking and behave properly. That's his redemption when he gets Preeti back. Now, I know in real life things do not work that way, and all his bad behavior cannot be justified by the fact that he is now trying to be better, but in a film when you want to show such redemption in a 3 hour time limit, it is understandable. But this is my take on the film, and I hope the director also considered it that way, although Wanga personally is a very shady person with orthodox thinking. At least Kabir Singh can be justified, but Animal is so morally objectionable. Yet I was way more engaged through Animal (except that Tripti Dimri part, which derailed the story completely) than Kabir Singh.
I don't feel tripti's part derailed the story but it actually shows that vijay is not a hero or ideal character because from the start he was shown as a man who loves his wife his father his family and even tells his brothers to not cheat on there wives but the movement he cheated on his wife we all felt cheated ( athough I personally wanted vijay to not cheat on his wife and brutally torture tripti's character for the info but it was also important to show us that vijay is not an ideal character) and that's how vanga spits on our faces that this is the character that u all liked, idealized, loved for the whole 2 hours . (Thanks for reading this if u r reading this)
@@the_KIZON Yeah, I also considered that Wanga's intention was to show Ranvijay's transformation into an animal without any morals, but the Abbas-Mastan-level plot twist-where it’s revealed that he already knew her ulterior motives-ruined it for me. When I said 'derailed,' I was more concerned about viewer engagement and the pacing of the story. What I liked the most about Animal was its ability to keep the audience engaged. Its screenplay felt like a roller coaster ride. For instance, the killing of the Jija scene comes out of nowhere, making the audience wonder about it, only to reveal the reason later. This non-linear structure was used quite effectively in the first half, giving the audience a reason to wait for the story to unfold. However, in the second half, the story became more linear. In the first half, there was frequent action to maintain engagement, but in the second half, we’d already seen Ranvijay's healing arc for a while before the Zoya part began. If there had been some kind of action that bridged the two segments, it would have made the narrative more engaging. I'm not saying this just because my attention span might be screwed (probably), but the tonal shift in the second half felt jarring. Also, the Zoya part didn’t contribute significantly to the overall story, so its length could have been reduced. The film was about a person whose obsession with his family had compromised his morality, and I felt the Zoya arc didn’t justify its screentime in comparison to its contribution to this central theme. That said, your point is valid too. I personally felt offended by Ranvijay's cheating, so in a way, that scene might have served its purpose.

Dekho Vo आ गयी...
Ya Main late आया. 🤔
Honestly, agreeing with everything except "usne mujhe dekha" part. If you'll see the rebel without cause wala scene, she was looking at him. They decided to cut off the close up of her from that scene. Basically vanga stupidly cut down every scene that made the character human tbh lol.
Also, in love with your videos. Binging them since last 2 hours. 😭😭
I agree
Nice to see you active now
OMG ! Laughed my lungs out at 3.50 😹 as soon as that epic dialogue dialogue hit my eardrums "Sunaiye de raha hai , behra nahi hu main" 😹
P.S - It's the most relatable thing for me as it is my Papa's fav dialogue in real life 😹 (Can't blame him though as both my mom & me are into too much nagging) 🙈
I love you for this video . Damn i want it so badly to sarcasticly taking vanga down 😂
had to!
"Babu ka chakkar aurat bhaiya" LOL WHATTT 😂😂
0:32 - 0:38 back to back puns ur killing me QT💀💀
Har din 10s of km bhaagna difficult hai, needs passion. Bandook uthana aur use karna seekhna difficult hai, needs perseverance, not forgetting bandook dhoondna hi mushkil hai.
But, gf ko maarna, emotional blackmail karna, nasha, daaru, na to karna difficult hai aur na hi dhoondna, only need lust for sadistic pleasure, easily available in abundance 😂😂
Sahi hai
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 the no lipstick thing maaannnnnnnn 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
I had to!
cutie with brain....it was hilarious and funny and deep😂
Vanga's style of giving flawed characters a happy ending is something i know is "morally" wrong but somehow i still end up loving the movie. :/
He didn't give Ranvijay Singh Balbir (Animal) a good ending because;
(1): His father is going to die within 5-6 months due to leukemia.
(2): His Wife left him and took kids away from him
(3): Psycho butcher, his clone (Aziz Haque) is after him who has also killed his 2 dear cousin brothers in the post credit scene.
(4): And most of the bones in his body are broken.
In Kabir Singh also he didn't give Kabir Singh from before a happy ending only after he redeem himself he got happy ending

Pata nahi Bhai tum konsi filme dekh rahe ho. Kahan thi happy ending? 😂

OMGGGG ALLL MY HATE REPLIESS IN ONE VIDDDD…. Thankssss mannnn reallyyy loved this. Idk why people call Kabir all that when Kabir literally is what a “ man” should be like understanding , caring towards women , protective and possessive . Thankssss man really hate how people downplay an amazing direction and screen play. Especially shahid acting. I’m from Hyd matlab arjun reddy is in Telugu (my mother tongue) BUT KABIR SINGH IS MY FAV OUT OF Arjun or dhruv( Tamil remake by Vikram chiyaan son)

Never take kabir Singh and other characters of movies seriously they are just entertainment
And from what angle is this even entertainment? If u really think these movies are entertaining then it says more abt you and your "bros"
@@emyf9197If you can't take movies as entertainment this says a lot about u and your parents. U should stick with anupama because there are a lot of movies and shows which hurt your ego
@@Misyognitic-king oh stfu plz... I don't need to take lectures from u self claimed preachers.
Tom and Jerry, Dhoom, jack reacher etc etc can be called entertainment bcuz stuff actually happens in those films instead following a drunk manchild around crying over a breakup for 2h.
If u call garbage movies like Kabir Singh as "entertainment" Then YOUR parents has failed u and a sign to actually get a life instead of being an angry incel n look up a psychologist bcuz watching paint dry is far more entertaining.
Sunaai de raha hai, behera nahi hu main... Meme was hilarious 😂😂😂
Finally You're Back 😊
My god the lipstick part at the end was amazing
That disclaimer in start was much needed 😅😅
MARMADA? RIVER? the pun hit actually 😋
