  • Crocheting and knitting can be fun and relaxing hobbies, but it can also be frustrating when the dye lots of your yarn don't match! This can be especially obvious when you shift from one skein to the next. The difference becomes even more apparent if you're using commercially manufactured multi-color yarn; and again when using hand-dyed yarns where the colors can vary greatly from skein to skein.

Gosh I wish I'd watched this before my last project. It was only when I was blocking it that I noticed that the different dye lot was not only a slightly different shade, but also a different thickness!!. Now I do check the dye lots really carefully, but, armed with your tips, I have more purchasing freedom, if needed. Thank you
