@@samsclocks2084I drill into the rivet to remove the click and I buy the new clicks and click spring from time savers and put in the new rivet and peen it over is that how they do it?
We drilled into the rivet too but we had to make our own click and clickspring. Just used regular steel wire for the clickspring and took an old clock plate out of a Hermle and cut and filed out a click with a jewelers saw and file.
Judging by that dial it might be a Uranium Glass dial. Shine a UV purple light and if it glows green. It’s Uranium Glass. It’s safe dw, uranium glass emits much less radiation. Our phones emit more radiation than uranium glass heh… Can’t wait to see the Ansonia running!!. I wish good luckies on it
It’s nice to see it out of the case!
It is
Glad you see you made it here on UA-cam. Post your timepieces to the world!
A little bit of oil in the click pivot and some light grease on the ratchet wheel to help with wear is okay in my opinion but 3:13 is just over oiled
3:13 yeah that’s gonna be dangerous in a couple more years that will literally stiffen the click
Cool by the way do you have a vice?
Yes
@@samsclocks2084did they teach you in horology school to tighten the click or tighten the worn areas on the great wheel?
Yes, they also taught me how to replace a click and a clickspring
