I own a car with light interior and this is one thing I always look for in a car. Also, plastics not being "soft touch" makes them more hard wearing and easier to clean. Also, rear windows that don't go all the way down are good for protecting children from putting their arms out the window. But, the styling is over-designed, especially from the outside, and while the touchscreen looks nice, having climate controls integrated into is just not good.

Such a funky car. Citroën really is a bold company ready to make risks so that makes them a rare breed in the car industry. It certainly has a lot of character. The thing is there are always some compromises we have to make so this one ticks many boxes. It seems that Citroën philosophy also hit @matwatson so his videos like this one certainly bring a very welcome refresh in car reviewing. He is even able to entertain us apart from just telling us what the car is like.
I love design of American Cars but unfortunately i don't trust them they are Expensive here in Bosnia and hard to find parts (except Ford's they make those in Germany) however I think Japanese and Europeans (especially Germans) make best cars.
I am tired from all the "sporty" small cars, for me the new C3 is excellet small car for people looking for comfortable fun car! Thank you Citroen! :-)
This isnt the type of car I would normally go for....but theres something about this model that I really like... so much so I have just ordered one in pearla black with sport red roof and some extras such as light pack, sound system etc. Cheers for the review. its honest and useful. I always lose my usb cable in the car and your piss take of the door bins not being black made me chuckle... So I just have to wait until july when it gets delivered :-) Cheers

I went for the diesel version and have also driven the petrol version of this( both from 2019) and to me the Diesel is way less noisy as in ALOT less, also everyone that i've talked to feels the same way that the diesel just have more go in it. My last long trip of around 450km of motorway had the cars fuel economy at around 30km/L which is just lovely in the current crazy times of 2022.
The design is very beautiful. Citröen's attempt at being unique and innovative really payed off, because not a lot of manufacturers can pull off chic and unique without looking ugly. Many have failed and ended up with hideous cars for the sake of " uniqueness ", but not Citröen.

Citroen also wants to join the club "vehicles with frontal cameras". They found no other function beside dashcam. Good enough I would say. Even Tesla doesn't do that.
another situation of people getting bored and just doing a re design for something to do (like nissan and the new micra) loved the previous design, a couple of family members have it. it stood out, this just looks like any other car of its type.

It may be 2 years old, but it looks way better than the 2020 American Cars over here in NA. Luckily Peugeot and Citroen are coming over here in 2021 so we will have these killer designs~
I prefer the layout of the C Class convertible video instead of this new layout. Unless you do this layout but in order, just seems a bit all over the place, otherwise a great review as per, Mat!

My sister plans to lease a C4 cactus as they're pretty reasonably priced and she needs a car only for short commutes to the hospital or the supermarket. It's going to be her first car in Britain (though she used to drive before emigrating to Britain). Which would be better for a 'first time driver' in a new country, the C3 or the C4.
No picture of a GS from 40 years ago either, 95mph from a flat four 1 litre and all round self levelling suspension, oh the boot floor was flat with no sill either.
1st - there is too much of the Cactus in it. 2nd - there are too many layers of lights in the front 3rd - I quite like the rear 4th - I looks a bit high and I'm already sick of SUV/Crossovers all around 4th - touchpad control of the functions is idiotic in any car!
Exactly. (Although I kinda like the cactus for some weird reason). All the black trim pieces make the car look cheap and nasty too. The only things I liked were the looks of the rear of the car, and the dashboard design.
Dream Time Depends if you just have a thing for soft touch plastics....French is quirky, efficient, comfortable and is now rated by many rewiews/tests/surveys as more reliable than German. To each their own though
It depends on your needs. Both the French and the Germans make good vehicles. Currently the French cars are more reliable, more confortable and more stylish than the Germans for the same price, so for my needs the French cars are better, up to 35k€.

Love the dashcam idea! Is the camera itself removeable? According to Swedish 'spying' laws, all recording equipment mustn't be permanently fixed, and should be easily removed.
yeah, I like it! I like it a lot! If I needed a new car today, I would decide between this new C3, the Clio and the Mazda 2 (much uglier but great little car!)

I find the design very cool (most of the new French cars are), especially when compared to what we have here in North America.

I have the C1 4 seater urbanride it's been a great little car not had any problems with it but up grading to the C3
C3 is definitely the best in class right now.

As an American I would say that the C4 and C3 look a little bit like a new Jeep Cherokee with the headlight situation.
Le Leedler the design of the headlights is Citroën, not Jeep. Citroën introduced it first with the C4 Picasso.

I wonder how does this compare to the Hyundai i10 2017? The i10 was one of the best in 2014-15. Hopefully you will get to review that one as well.
