Cleaning kitchens and keeping it organized is key to maintaining a happy space in the home. People spend a lot of time in their kitchens, cooking, chatting, working and eating. It's a place that needs to bring them harmony and pride. In these videos I give some great advice and tips on organising, cleaning, and the best products to use to achieve that relaxing space for your clients. ua-cam.com/play/PLh1fKdNH3piTcr8ExrDcgdxomn4-2j6qs.html
I use old plastic freezer drawers and square wash basins to store cleaning supplies and lesser used items in my kitchen corner cupboard (also in my garden shed). If anything leaks it is contained. Not too big thus doesn't get too heavy, so I can pull out a whole bin at a time and easily get to what's at the back. This cost next to nothing and maximizes the square storage space available.
I thought about doing that, but I worried that if chemicals leaked and pooled together they could create dangerous fumes, eep! I guess your idea is better though coz the likelihood of one bottle leaking and damaging the cupboard etc is more likely than a couple of em leaking simultaneously. Brb, just gonna go reorganize! 😜
@@nevadatan7323 Good point, hadn't thought of that. But yes, chances are only one would leak at any one time. And I guess it depends on what kind of chemicals you use, I don't have many and very few heavy duty ones like oven cleaner. The bins contain sponges, cloths and brushes as well, just to corral it all together. Hope your reorganization worked out well 🙂
@Irene-gq4jr I use half gallon and quart jars with lids under kitchen sinks to store sponges, SOS pads, ect... Here in Georgia the humidity is high, so I store various items in glass jars to keep them dry. They are also great for keeping bugs and rodents out of things too🎉
@@ajalicea1091 Sounds like you have a tougher time than me with humidity. I'm in Scotland, where we plenty of rain but not so much heat! Sounds like we have a similar idea though.
I've got a China cabinet with red rose dishes which I use once a year at Thanksgiving. Wasted space but looks pretty! I use Corelle for every day. My kitchen is overloaded with dishes and pot & pans but for the most part I do use them. I have a large metal shelf & deep freeze in a Pantry room off my dining room. I keep heavier things like crock pot, electric skillet, and other things on the shelves. Fair solution for the time being but I see in my future that kitchen clutter needs to be brought under control. Dreaded job but this video gave me some things to think about.
Thanks Darlene for bringing this up - dishes are a big one for a lot of people. We could make a show just on dishes alone. I love your outlook on next steps for maintaining control of your home and space. Thanks for sharing. :-)
I have cleaned houses for over 30 years. My specialty is organization. I offered to help a dear client organize her closet years ago. I spent 3 hours standing at the foot of the bed while she would ask me how I would mix and match the outfits to hang. Ugh, She always disagreed with my suggestion. So basically I didn't do anything. LOL extremely frustrating!😵
When you're known for the results you produce - clients like that are incredibly frustrating because a couple of tweaks could solve their problems - yet they choose their problems and continue to pay for your service. We call it unconscious self-sabotage. People don't even know they're doing it. :-(

Awesome...you got this Jean!
Lots to consider. Wonderful advice as always.
Those are perfect questions but after asking those many questions the people might say ( that's ok) Lol
