It's quite amazing technology , very impressed. I will buy a mavic mini for my first drone, and then I will purchase the skydio 2. Handmade , and built with the best tracking technology in the drone industry. Very impressive.
This place is beautiful and then I recognized it at the end. I live 15 mins away from there and I always go down there to the beach. I'll definitely hike this place soon. Didn't know you can go all the way up there too. Great video. Awesome drone!
I have been immersed in drones since they first came out. This video was incredible. I wonder if the fact you had bright coloured helmets helped stay on you. Great job!!!
I loved to have one of these for my Adventures in Indonesia. But after all you people in US hard to get it. So I was thinking that is my Dteamin Future Drone . Nice view guys, loved it ! 👍👍
19 minutes! One battery? No stops to swap out battery? That's damn good considering all the adjustments it had to making, constant acceleration and deceleration, ups, downs... damn impressive!
It's not a drone it's a camera that can fly automatically. If you look at this as a drone, RC Chopper, etc. you will be disappointed and get bored really fast.
Great cycling! Great mountain view! Great lighting! Just one question: Why does the drone focus on the biker in orange while the beacon is on the biker in green?
Holy Shit, I have to sell my mavic pro tomorrow. And by the way. Please do tell. WHERE IS THIS? I will fly to CA from NY to do this if you tell me please!
Awesome. What a great area to ride. Too bad you did not switch up the shots to try some different angles. Would of been good to see it from the front and side not just the back. Just curious how much battery life was left?
Yeah, aside from changing subjects mid way through, I never changed the angle. The pack was basically exhausted after 19 mins and 5 miles of speed. Really not bad considering this wasn't a walking pace.
Can you please provide a link in the bio or a reply here for me to download and see the raw 4K HDR footage. Would be really great as I can't stream your video in 4k from my country on UA-cam
Rian I set the drone to slowly orbit us clockwise. You can see this when we stop. This was it trying to get around a tree it saw. A Mavic would have run into it.
What kind of bikes are those did u rent them and do they help for the climp.. if so where did you rent them I would love to go there just to ride that trail..
Regarding "no edits" (I'm thinking you mean cuts). Does that apply to exposure and color, too? Or is this straight out of the card? Oh, and is this with the beacon, or just visual follow? Never mind, I saw you answered that: "I had beacon but we never stressed the visual tracking so it didn't need the GPS back up. Still, it's really nice to have a small controller with some range if something sis break the visual tracking."
@@dhdsracer Thank you so much! This is an example that people did the settings correctly (in my opinion). The footage came out looking great! Thank you for sharing!
Great footage. Couple of things I wish the skydio did was be folding and if it had wireless mic so you can do voiceover as your riding. But otherwise very cool drone.
DJI didn't start out as a foldable drone. Heck it didn't even start with a 4K camera, gimbal, or sensors. My guess is that the camera sensors with all the wiring prevented it from folding the way a mavic does. Also they'll probably see a foldable Skydio in future generations. This is a small American Company... They should be able to bring out other cool features slowly into other models, just like big greedy Trillion $Dollar$ companies do. Like DJI, GoPro, Apple, Samsung, Sony, Panasonic, JVC, etc.
It's too bad this drone always stays so close. You really miss out on seeing the surrounding scenery and it gives it more of a sims type video game feel rather than allowing the viewer to immerse into the action.
can the drone actually change the location after certain time i.e. 1st 5 minutes the drone shoots on the right side of the subject as it flies, then at the 2nd 5 minutes it will in front of the subject flying backwards.. can it do that??
I had beacon but we never stressed the visual tracking so it didn't need the GPS back up. Still, it's really nice to have a small controller with some range if something sis break the visual tracking.
It's incredible what those GTA 5 graphics mods can do. Mount Chiliad looks awesome.
Thought exactly the same!
a trick: you can watch movies at KaldroStream. Been using it for watching a lot of movies lately.
@Johnny Zyaire Yup, I've been watching on kaldrostream for since november myself =)
What spectacular footage. More folks need to see this. Such a credit to you and Skydio for making a thing like this happen.
This is how GoPro Karma should do it's job. I'm glad that someone finaly knows how to build action drones that are awesome.
Karma, Lily, etc.... Finally our prayers have been answered!
7:27 ist just the best. I can't believe how beautiful this place is.
Fake. I don't believe it. ;)
LOL! Totally unexpected comment from the official manufacturer. xD Love it.
Skydio itself just come to this world!! Long live the King of drones!
if this only fit my bike bag... :(
Is it available in Europe?
Glad to hear you guys have a sense of humor.
never knew such a place existed', such an awesome way to spend the afternoon.
McNee Ranch! Nice footage, I think I’ll take mine up next weekend. Looks like a great spot to fly the SK2!
This is the best type of commercial for this product
Amazing footage and a beautiful location!

Adamski modz where is it?
@@kentao4 It's in Montara, CA. Like 15 mins south of San Francisco if you take Pacific Coast Highway.

Looks like 11 people from DJI watched this video.
It's really a breath of fresh air that someone, other than DJI is making some awesome drone innovations.
🤣🖖
And one BMW guy who decided to park exactly at the entrance :)
Beautiful Don and Rob
Beautiful scenery
Beautiful! 😲😍 Where is it? Skdio 2 👌👍
Amazing place and colors!
5:46 drone got distracted by the beauty
what beauty?
Amazing. Nicely done
Man, this would be awesome for criterium racing!
..its just fly-n-forget...nice...
Orbit mode???? Wow is awesome!!
Supercool where did you fly it??? I mean where is this location ????
200 bucks for the drone, 799 for the software for it to be able to do this on its own. AND it’s worth every penny.
suuuuper cool!
Increíble!!!!
Firstly, this drone is incredible - I want one!
Secondly, the location is incredible. Where is it??
Hello Mr. Hulk
Nice Mcnee Ranch bike trail!!
Thanks man!
At least give me the buzz of the props... this is tough to follow for 19 mins.
Beautiful footage! Can I ask where these trail are?

Airwolf plus the thin air uses more power

Nice terrain!!
and this makes me want to have one :) I will definitely tell this to my drone group

Amazing autonomy
Where is this area, stunning scenery
Does the drone shoot in portrait mode for tik tok and Instagram videos?
Where is this awsome place?!
Where’s this place ?
I wish you had an audio recorder on you.
Or music... But nothing that music playing in the background can't cure ;)
Was this with just the phone? No beacon?
Thank you for the wonderful video. I want to buy it soon. If it becomes a global sale
Lovin the music in my brain.
Did you have the Beacon or was the drone following on visual acquisition only?
James Brent beacon 100% sure
@@TheWictim He is just using his phone
Great cycling! Great mountain view! Great lighting! Just one question: Why does the drone focus on the biker in orange while the beacon is on the biker in green?
Orange is good friends
A great location is a great part of drone videos.
The video just looks stunning, super good 👍👍👍 Too bad that Skydio 2 is not yet available in Germany.
This is like the cinematic cam on Red Dead Redemption 2
HUGE !!! It is a pity that it is so difficult to buy it and even more so from Spain.
Нихерасебе. Уважуха большому парню, с таким весом кататься по горам и не умереть!
Tracking with the beacon??
Where ist this wonderful scenery! I am gonna visit! California?
McNee Ranch is located in the Santa Cruz Mountains of California

Can't wait to get mine.
Where was this shot at?
Can you have it always be off say your right shoulder? So you’d be able to feel the curves with it locked in that position and view
Yes, that’s an option in the app. The way I did this, it would orbit at slow speeds and follow at higher speeds. You can fix an angle if you’d like.
Thanks for sharing, please re upload with music, I promise to watch again
I had Angry Birds 2 in the background, synced up perfectly hahaha
Montara Mountain FTW! My backyard!

Awesome video!!! 5 miles descent!, where is this place, what country?
Skydio 2 - The Explainer !
It seems Skydio2 is drifting quite a bit or the camera gimbal stabilization problem vs. Mavic Pro 2 hovers like a rock. >>>>>>> 12:22

Could you shoot some video in more challenging conditions, with trees etc?
I certainly can. Thanks for the suggestion!

Well Done!
Waiting on mine too! Awesome trail, where is this?
You can see a sign at the end of the video: Montara State Beach - just north of Half Moon Bay in California
@@konikaze Thank you!! Just gorgeous footage!!
No flyaways? Ohh Its a Skydio, thought it was a DJI for a second...
would like to see a bit more of the drone "not in follow from behind mode". gets old. do the other positions not work as well?
Very nice! Where is this?
It's coastal Northern California near San Francisco
Gainstrup do it! There is so much beauty out here. Just keep the city time to a minimum and focus on the national parks!
@Gainstrup McNee Ranch is located in the Santa Cruz Mountains
Awesome! What is the flight mode for this? Does it have auto angles shot?
It was in a slow orbit but tends to adjust into a follow position as the speed increases. I talk more about it in a response to Lon's question above.
Regarding "no edits" (I'm thinking you mean cuts). Does that apply to exposure and color, too? Or is this straight out of the card?

huyked straight from the card. Camera set to auto. I was using beacon but it was never needed because visual tracking was locked the entire time.

Do yourself a favour and skip to 2:00 and avoid the 2 mins of OCD inducing battery wastage hover time! Bloody great otherwise!!
Dislike on this, really?
