I gotta get back in on this. I can't believe there's still a way and means to play this game in some form. It's been YEARS since I played 2142 but the memories and its impact on me as a game have never left me. Greatest BF entry of all time.
And to think back in the day it would´ve been impossible to take out that Titan so easily, the corridors for the consoles were packed people, laser shields and sentry guns.

I really want to play this again. Sadly no safe way to get the game digitally. I have the physical copy still in storage somewhere but not near me, and even then I'd have to get an external DVD reader first. Such a bummer it's not offered on the EA app.
2142 is considered abandonware now, theyre are reliable downloads out there. Id look into BF 2142 reclamation I can still play online via they're servers. Last Saturday we had 18 people in a server with bots.
One thing I’d wish for all Battlefield games at this point is the ability to play with bots like the old Star Wars Battlefront games. That way, you don’t always have to struggle against a max level player and any map or mode you choose can be populated. At the same time, it’s sad none of these old games can be played anymore on consoles because the majority of players would rather flock to the most recent trend in the making.

I never paid much attention to this game when it came out. But I do like it now.
