Golf is not an activity on this watch. I personally would not recommend this watch is golf is a main feature you are looking for. There are lots of other Garmin watches that are a lot better for golf. This is about the extent of golf on the Instinct: ua-cam.com/video/WwHfXkBuvMI/v-deo.html

Hi there, thanks for watching. If you are interested in surf data you would want to get the Surf edition as it is the only one that will have that information. You can't get it on the standard solar or non solar versions. Hope this helps.

Hi there! Would you know the reason why Garmin doesn’t have the surf app compatible with the instinct watch series? I have the solar and I surf frequently. I didn’t want to know the tide data that the surf watch has but I thought I could just add the surf app. This is heart breaking.

You can, but so far I have not found many extra activities out on the Connect IQ app.

@swt ohh I see.. So I think it's 1 because I did tried in the past and it did told me it's not support.. In the about version it says version 17.50.

Sorry no Badminton :(. You can create a custom activity for when you play Badminton but that is about as close as you can get to having it as an activity.
