@@speedygamey7160 Yep. I looked at the sonic news network, and it DOES say that she voiced Charmy Bee in Sonic Generations from 2011 to present day.
Like she said, if this becomes the norm to invite more voice actors to do blockbuster movies, then the voice over community has new opportunities and a bright future.
And it starts with Colleen..
Why do I get the feeling that the Sonic Cinematic Universe (SCU) is gonna have a mix of original voice actors/actress's & A-list celebrities for the characters?

Don't forget man, Peter Cullen who voiced optimus prime in the original transformers tv series got to return as optimus thanks to the first live action transformers movie & even he was grateful to be welcomed back in the role by the fans
I'm just so happy they asked Colleen and not someone else. If anyone else played Tails I don't think it wouldn't of been the same

I know Colleen O'Shaughnessy with some other voice talent. She does Sora from Digimon and Jazz from Danny Phantom. She does have a beautiful voice. Mainly known for her as Tails.
Also she voices Ino Yamanaka and Konohamaru from the Naruto series.

Colleen saying "catch you on the flip-flop" makes me sooooooo thankful that us Sonic fans can still watch Sonic Boom TO THIS DAY, for it is one of the G.O.A.T.S of the Sonic shows next to Sonic Prime and Sonic X (imo, Prime was a fun show and had a creative concept with the multiverse and they finally did Shadow justice, X because if you watched Sonic X back in the day, you're childhood was VALID, and because it had Sonic Adventure and Sonic Adventure 2 merged into it). The writing is hilarious and fun, the voice acting is over-the-top amazing, sure some 3D may be overused and boring the further you watch, but just one episode can brighten your day!
I am happy to see what big news this is for Colleen to get the credit and promotion she deserves for co-starring with Ben Schwartz and Idris Elba in Sonic the Hedgehog 2. I first met her at armageddon and she send her voice acting to me and I was naturally freaking out
I thought it was great to see Stephanie Beatriz be the lead of Encanto at the end of Brooklyn Nine-Nine. Since she said she always wanted to do voice acting in an interview for The Lego Movie 2, and I have seen her take on a lot of voice acting roles in the later seasons of Brooklyn Nine-Nine with Bob's Burgers, Danger and Eggs, Bojack Horseman, Twelve Forever and Central Park, I hope Encanto is not the last big animated film part she gets. I think it’s pretty cool how she went from sounding like Kate Higgins Tails in the games to Amy Palant’s Tails for the movie (well in and out)
Which is very interesting because Kate Higgins’ Tails sounded a lot like her Sakura from Naruto just… with different context making it sound different. Even more funny is that

Why does everything has to be a 'community' ffs.
Aside from whatever weight that term carries, the internet has allowed people with similar interests to communicate with one another on a scale that wasn't previously possible. It's only natural that people would find their way into groups and become more aware of each other.
In this case saying "community" instead of "other people who work in the same general profession as me, but are typically limited to roles in animation and video games" is faster. And ya gotta go fast.
