Im curious, how old are the tires (age?)
No clue, guessing probably 10-15 years at least, judging by the dry rot on the side walls. Definitely time to get new ones no matter what haha

How unreliable are the automatic transmission Rams? I found a 98 Craigslist with 136k miles as a college beater and wondering if I should go for it or look longer for a manual
Depends on how they've been treated, some can last 200k+, others will be slipping at 100k. If you're interested in one, make sure you drive it and see if it shifts hard or slips. If it doesn't feel weird, it will definitely have some more life in it.

@@cptchuff2741 no problem! You can also see if the person you're buying it from knows anything or has any paperwork from previous transmission work (although usually there is none, good to ask, though). Good luck!
