In This East German Village It’s Christmas All Year Round | Christmas Village Seiffen
Вставка
- Опубліковано 20 гру 2020
- Incense burners, nutcrackers, and candlestick holders are the ambassadors of a small German village: Seiffen in the Erzgebirge - also known as a toy village around the world. It always feels like Christmas here, in the very east of Germany. In Seiffen, there are many other wooden works of art made by hand besides Christmas pyramids. We looked around the peaceful little village.

Beautiful handmade German Folk Art. These are amazing craftsman and the work is incredibly georgeous. I loath these cheap made in China Christmas decorations. I have lived in Germany for decades and collected ULBRICHT, and STEINBACH Nutcrackers. Chip Christmas trees,, pyramids, and many other treasures. The Christmas markets will be open again this year. And will be a fantastic time at the markets all over Germany and the European Union. Long live the ," folk art" from the Ore Mountains!
Greetings aus USA We have many good friends in the Erzgebirge very good people. Glück auf
Beautiful. Happy Christmas 🎄 for all of you dear people of Germany 🇩🇪. From Florida, USA 🇺🇸
Also great area for hiking, bike riding and motorcycling. I like the area a lot. I miss it. Thx for the vid
Had the pleasure of spending some time in the lead up to Christmas in a few places in Germany. Loved the beautiful markets, the gingerbread biscuits, & the Christmas shops with the beautiful wooden figures. I was fortunate enough to come back with a pyramid, wooden nut crackers & smokers & a few other Christmas figurines. Every year it is such a joy to unpack & display these beautiful pieces.
I need to visit this beautiful place!😍 Thank you! This brings me joy!

Hopefully the craftsman is not breathing in as much dust as his jumper suggests.

Close :)
"Die deutschen Weihnachtsmärkte sind schön"
(singular=Weihnachtsmarkt; plural=Weihnachtsmärkte)
'The german Christmas markets are beautiful'.
Frohe Weihnachten 🎄
(Merry Christmas)
East German as in DDR?
Werner Krueger yes, but DDR is just history for more than 20 years now. Merry Christmas.
Or more correctly: in Saxony
@@woozl1896 30 years, to be correct. The German Democratic Republic (Deutsche Demokratische Republik) stopped existing 1990.
@@RioMuc As an East German i like to annotate that West Germany also know as the the Bonner Republic stopped also existing.
