Good Bears of the World is a non-profit organization established in 1969 and since then has donated hundred's of thousands of bears worldwide to ease loneliness and inspire love and compassion through gifts of teddy bears to children. I absolutely love going to the doll and bear shows with you. I love that these people have saved these old dolls and kept them for us to see. I cant wait to give my big pouty bear a spa day, he will still be pouty but fresh as a daisy! The steiff always amazes me. 💕💕

Amie, the small bear was my first stuffy! His name was BooBoo! I just loved him! I was born in 57 so guessing i got him about 1960!

Love the doll show videos! My fav of your purchases is that big Knickerbocker bear! I collect rubber faces so filming those were my fav. Love the vintage Steiff too.😊

I understand cleaning the bears, but as a buyer, if I came across one I would be disappointed that someone tried to repaint their faces. For me, the age adds to the bear. Who would expect a 60+ age bear to look new? He's great!
I dont always do paint touch ups, but I always disclose when I am selling them on live sales, and the feedback I have got from customers that have purchased them from me, were happy they were freshened up and restored. Most I do leave as is. I did not end up doing any touch up on either of the bears I purchased, the small one already found a new home.
What a magical bunny-
Question what’s the difference of Bisque Babies, Frozen Charlottes and Penny Dolls? I hear these terms used for what seems the same dolls.
A Frozen Charlotte is a specific form of china or bisque doll made in one solid piece without any joints, or "frozen" because they cant move their arms or legs. They were typically inexpensive, and the name "Penny doll" for the smallest size frozen Charlottes. Bisque babies is more of a blanket term for all of them- I usually call the ones that do have moveable arms and legs bisque babies.
