I recently found your channel and really enjoy it. Having worked with a poultry farm and being from a rural area, and understanding a lot of the effort it takes to run a successful farm operation, i just want to say thank you to you, your dad, and your entire family for your dedication and commitment in providing a quality product to your community. Everyone thanks the military and emergency responders, but very few thank the people who keep everyone fed. The people whose job never ends. The people like you. Thank you. And God bless.
You Erik live an incredibly dangerous profession. The HD equipment with sharp edges drives me and your insurance carrier over the edge. But tell at least 1 to 2 people where you are and task. My son in law cousin was killed last year on a dairy farm in Connecticut. He was working alone when a hydraulic failure pinned him to a wall & ground. So my respect for you is over the the top. Peace!
Great to see you and your Dad working so well together. The slower that the concrete dries the stronger it will be. The barn is looking great. tanks for the super video and see you on the next one.
The new barn construction is really moving along now. Shortening the Harvestore unloading leg seems like a pain but it’s a necessary job. Man when it rains it pours!! Take care & stay safe. Cheers
Thank you for showing your day, and changing that arm looks like it's big job to get done and being safe with all them knives. And the new Barn is coming along nicely,
Sure is amazing how fast that concrete set up. I was surprised to see it hold your weight already. That was neat. I am also impressed with the size of the building. Good planning went into that structure. Thanks for the video.
You and your Dad work so well together. That silo work looks hard. It's a creepy confined space! The craftsmanship on the cement work is awesome. Glad you got some rain, please send it to California😉
Building is coming along well, that was alot of rain and you and your dad looking good and well. Keep up the good work and remember God is in control and God loves you and bless you and your family. Prayers for your family. The Amish does amazing work on Building barns, God bless them too 🙏.
You know you are a amazing content created when you can work in a pitch black silo. And the viewers still know what’s going on. Great camera work and great editing.
I am loving watching the gentleman working the groves they look perfect. The long/short arm process is interesting. there were a few Harvestors near our farm in NJ, mostly concrete stave silos.
Enjoying your videos on building the new barn. Doing a great job. And also enjoyed watching you and your dad working in the silo. Being a farmer you have to be on top of everything to have machinery run smooth.
Fantastic video Eric. I need to thank you again for taking the time and effort to film and edit for us. It is nit like you have all this spare time on your hands. Your efforts are certainly appreciated by so many. Bull float operator was amazing to watch…in fact the entire team is amazing!!!! Thanks again Eric.
Another great video, the new barn is coming around nicely. I just love the look of the grooved floor. Hey if you want to send some of that rain out here to California we'd really appreciate it. I just love the sound of that heavy rain coming down on the roof. We have a big old 15' x 35' corrugated tin roof in the backyard for the patio, just love the sound of rain coming down on it. Keep up the great work, love seeing videos of you and your dad working together.
Close to walls and pipe work then bedding and 🐄🐄🐄🐄🐄 Very efficient crew working on the project. They know their stuff. Nice straight lines on the grooving shows they care.🤗
Really making progress with the new heifer barn. Amish skills are the best, I think. Don't envy you & your Dad having to work inside the Harvestore, mostly 'cause I'm claustrophobic! Thanx for another excellent video . . .
The beginning was almost a concrete ASMR moment. 😂 Looking good though! Lots of progress happening... I bet you're excited (I know I'm excited, and I'm just sitting here watching, so I can only imagine how excited you must be 😂) to get it done. Thanks for sharing, Eric!
Great camerawork terrific video. I did a lot of concrete work in college to pay bills. I can tell you these guys are very professional. The barn is looking fantastic. I love that power wheel barrow.
Mr. Bloomberg should be required to watch all of these videos since he thinks farming is a simple profession for dummies. Takes me back 60 years growing up on a dairy farm. I learned a lot of life's lessons milking cows. keep up the good fight.
He is right put seed in dirt it's a processes Bloomberg hahahha😅we get a few here every year or so by a little land a tractor they flip it, get it stuck and/or can't figure out what to do then they hire us to come in and they save money and can focus on other things on there land
It is very interesting to see how the stable is built. How the workers understand their trade and work in a team. I have never seen before how the grooves are made in the concrete. They do a very good and accurate job 👍👍💯
The chain is the same process as changing a track on a machine. The concrete side, I do as part of my job. They did it as good , if not better than I would. Great video mate. 👍👍
We're a good job my friend real good job that's looking good oh I remember i used to haveold rebar steel on a summer bad care in California but forget rebar so you guys doing a good job it looks good up a guitar over here in California OK take care God-bless and i can't wait to see the next one

The gentleman running the bullfloat with that many poles on it. Was unreal and straight for that long. I have done it but not that many poles. I am telling you his arms will hurt end of day. Don't care how young you are.
To see you working with your dad has made me really to miss my father.
Sorry you is sad
The chap putting the lines in the concrete is just amazing. I could watch it all day!!
You getting any good idea's for your building Tom? 😁

I appreciate your sharing your daily work-life on the farm!
The barn is coming along nicely thanks for keeping us updated
The guy making those grooves is the real mvp. Such a steady hand
Guy Wastes Allllotta time though only using half
He’s not using only a half. He’s using one half of bull float to guide, and to finish previous grooves better.
Steady hand lol Did you see how much flex their was in that pole? lmao
@@farmboysteve3295 Gee. I winder who knows what he s doing, You? Or the guy making the lines? Numpty

Really coming along nicely. Good thing with the roof over the freshly poured concrete, that rain sounds horrendous. LoL.
Going to be a beautiful barn. Congratulations, and God Bless

Listening to the sounds as you work inside the silo, it sounds like you’re working underground. ^_^
So crazy seeing all these youngins out there working in construction and the most ive done is paint a wall and stain a fence.
Are they all amish?
Hard workers it seems!
Greetings from Germany
They do quality work.
Don't sell yourself short hun, there are plenty of young folks who haven't painted a wall or stained a fence! I say good job and keep going! 😀👍
That ending never gets old.😊😊😊
That look on your dads face at 7:37 is the exact way I feel half way through any hard job :D

That transition was smooth
I love that parting shot of the harvester shooting the corn straight into the silage bin. Lol.
Thanks for another great video my friend.
