At least it was folded properly and not just tossed on the ground or in a bin at Goodwill. It upsets me when our flag is disrespected. If you don’t want it take it to a veterans home for proper disposal.
@@PaperandMoose It’s sad when no one wants those items, I have three, my Godfathers (which is a forty eight star flag), my Dads and my Brothers. My Dads and Brothers are in cases with their military ID’s.
Wow, you got a great deal on those cleaning supplies and the paper products. I love when you take us on these auctions. I’m amazed at how well you did at this one, and everything is surprisingly clean.
It looked like those homeowners had some money! They probably paid more for their patio furniture than I paid for my house lol. You were smart to pick up all those household cleaning items at a bargain price. And I love that vintage Santa which is probably already displayed in your house. By the way, do you ever do video tours of your Christmas displays in your house? Wow, that´s what I call a pretty neat property with the inventory of a whole lifetime ! 👍 I saw a stunning assortment of Lego and also Playmobil packages which might generate a decent amount of $$. Seemed to be a toy paradise for kids who grew up in the 80s/90s. Congrats on Little Santa and a whole bunch of practical items, I like especially the Swiffers which I use for tricky, dusty corners. Keep it up, and see you on the next one ! 👏Greets from GER, U.
I missed most of the Lego & Playmobil portion of the auction, as that was going on while I was trying to win the Ugg boots. From what I heard, most of the boxed Lego sets were all put together, so at least it would be easy to tell if any were missing. I can only imagine if they would have saved the boxes but kept all the Lego pieces just in big totes... wonder what the totes would have sold for??

This sale offers a lot of opportunity for resellers. While everybody is chasing the Legos, video games, and Transformers, you can bid on items they don't care about that have good resale value. The clothes are nice, they might go reasonably.

There were a few things in the household good box that actually sell fairly well online, like linen spray. They looked expensive so I looked them up & was surprised at their resell value!
A penny saved is a penny earned. Selling Legos by the brick - The Malevolent Auction Company. That house was a who's who - or a what's what - of high-end resellables, it looked like. Hard to believe one family had all that patio furniture. I do hate to see those flags sitting alone, presumably separated from the family of the soldier they covered. (Though you can buy them). Too bad they didn't have serial numbers or some marking so you could know something about the soldier (or police officer, firefighter, etc.). Did that video game really go for $100? The auctioneer was funny about it - and frustrated, I bet. Fun video, TFS, have a great Monday afternoon!
Yes, the game only sold for $100. It seemed to be a knock-off of Street Fighter, so if it was an actual Street Fighter arcade game I think it would have sold for a bit more. Cheap price but needs help to move! The flag was the only piece of military there, so not sure the story behind it. I would have hoped if it belonged to the family, they would have kept it, but one doesn't know. I guess we will have to wait until the New Year for another auction. The next two weeks will be slow with sales and such, but that's okay because it gives me time to do lots of research!
Love, love to watch… good deals ! We aren’t looking the same” things” but still very interesting! I was born in the 50 / Canada, .. prices are higher even flea market, bazar etc $$ can’t believe how’s cheap it is. Happy holidays to all! Keep your eyes open and enjoy theses simples joy of life! It all depends. I missed that part of the auction, but from past auctions, they usually only sell for a higher amount if there are Longaberger collectors there. Otherwise, they end up selling for a low price.
Thanks for taking us along. . Did the Lego go sky high? I might have been tempted to take that whole row of ,what ,6 boxes of kitchen stuff to sell at flea market . It amazes me how much " back s tock some people have of things like a x ton of cutlery.
Thanks for taking us to the auction with you At the beginning the black handle knives in the wooden block looked like Cutco knives. If so they are worth a good bit. Interesting that a big fancy house didn’t have any good stuff really I wonder what the story was on the toys, think the Dead Woman owned them? Maybe the auctioneers put them in? A little sad to think about all your stuff getting sold off like that…oh well
Good eye! The knives sold for $60, I believe. That was probably the most expensive item that sold amongst the box lots. Not sure on the woman... I'm thinking perhaps all the toys were her children's that had been left there through the years and so were a "part of the estate". With the military funeral flag even being auctioned off, I'm guessing maybe there wasn't much family left and so that's why everything was sold.
@@PaperandMoose probably could still have made $100 -200 on those knives. Cutco knives are in demand , they still make them and that set new would be around $700-800 probably. I think the scissors were Cutco too. The knives have pretty distinctive handles that makes them easy to spot. Lots of people don’t know and I have gotten some on the cheap Just another thing to keep an eye out for

Hello Renee. Hey if you can save money on everyday things these days it’s great . It’s just so expensive to buy anything anymore. I can got to Dollar General and spend $75 bucks on toiletries and stuff for cleaning and it use to cost maybe $50 bucks. It’s just nuts. I do love the Santa it’s adorable. Great action lots of fun and useful stuff. Take care.🕵🏼♀️🕵🏼♀️🕵🏼♀️🕵🏼♀️🕵🏼♀️🕵🏼♀️☕️🫖☕️🫖🥰🥰🥰💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯
I hear you on the Dollar General. I've actually done some price comparison while shopping there and also at my local chain grocery store. Surprisingly, some items on sale at the chain grocery are cheaper than Walmart!
Moving it, storing it, & then attempting to resell it. Think of having to shuffle that to the flea market multiple times if you don’t get the price you want. Facebook Marketplace has too many issues with inviting people to your home to make sure it works, to see it on there.
How do you hang around Taco?! You are so bubbly, fun and positive. He acts so jaded and blah. He reminds me of Ben Affleck 😂, always seems to be in a bad mood.
Taco strikes me as a very private person. He and Renee seem to be doing just fine. What Taco shares with us is the hard work involved in the buying and selling business. His kindness and honesty will carry him far. Many of us are very fond of him, just the way he is.
He acts like a ghost in your videos, Renee. We watch both of you, especially since my daughter lives on the Hill in Easton. Love watching for her house. We see it sometimes. My sil says he’s seen Taco in Wawa talking to himself. lol He never seems like a people person.
Auctions are always very interesting! That is the ugliest santa @16:03 I have ever seen! What do you Rene or anyone else for that matter see in that I do not know! That was Taco Stacks van you had your stuff in! Then did he buy stuff as well? I am surprised you did not mention him as he mentions you in other situations!
I mention Taco Stacks in many of my other videos & have him in many of my videos, like Saturday’s video & in my most recent flea market video. As for the Santa, I like him & those that collect vintage Christmas will like him as well 🎅
I understand you probably are not supposed to video people at an auction, I love your auction videos, but that blurry video really bothers my eyes so I change your channel 😩

Cast iron heaven on that stove!
Sounded like they had two rings going at once. Must’ve been tons of stuff.
They did have 2 auctioneers going at the same time. They also had tools & outdoor supplies that I didn’t show, lots of stuff!
love this
Hello Renee.
You walked right by the Cutco......
It sold for $60.
Really enjoyed this video, such a good idea to buy the cleaning supplies for less.
Maybe it is the same sale. 😂
I hear geese!
💜
👍
How does Taco pass up the arcade game for $110?!
Moving it, storing it, & then attempting to resell it. Think of having to shuffle that to the flea market multiple times if you don’t get the price you want. Facebook Marketplace has too many issues with inviting people to your home to make sure it works, to see it on there.
@@PaperandMoose I was being facetious based on my arcade nostalgia
No toys video darn it
🎅🏻🌲🌲🎅🏻🎅🏻🎅🏻👏👏🤠🇬🇧
Sounds like everything is going for dirt cheap at this auction.
Not the toys, though! They were the heavy hitters.
How do you hang around Taco?! You are so bubbly, fun and positive. He acts so jaded and blah.
He reminds me of Ben Affleck 😂, always seems to be in a bad mood.
He reminds me of Adam Sandler...
What do you Rene or anyone else for that matter
see in that I do not know! That was Taco Stacks van
you had your stuff in! Then did he buy stuff as well?
I am surprised you did not mention him as he mentions you
in other situations!
For all you got it looks like you did ok Yes the Swiffer cost alot of money The Santa was cute for a bit of money I wondered if you'd buy some of the Christmas ornaments or if they'd go for a high price ? 🇨🇦🦩. Merry Christmas 🎁
They ended up grouping several of the ornaments together, so I think it sold for $25.
