NWS Storm Prediction Center Norman OK
    1044 PM CST Fri Dec 10 2021
    Areas affected...Portions of western Kentucky.
    Concerning...Tornado Watch 554...
    Valid 110444Z - 110545Z
The severe weather threat for Tornado Watch 554 continues.
SUMMARY...Strong to intense tornado damage is expected to continue
    across portions of western Kentucky.
DISCUSSION...The long-track supercell, now entering Hopkins county,
Kentucky has now had a nearly continuous TDS for over 3 hours with
an average vRot over 70 knots. The radar presentation and downstream
environment does not show any sign of weakening this storm in the
near term. In fact, recent observations ahead of this supercell have
shown temperature increases of 2 to 3 F and dewpoint increases of 2
to 3F. This, combined with the cooling temperatures aloft, has
actually increased instability ahead of this storm over the last 2
hours. Warm sector winds have veered slightly in the last hour which
has reduced low-level shear slightly. However, there is still
significant turning between the surface and the southwesterly
low-level jet, and therefore, despite this slightly weaker shear, it
likely won't have much of an impact on storm tornadic potential.
The likely catalysts for weakening this long-lived tornadic
supercell will be eventual movement into low to mid 60s dewpoints
and weaker instability, or storm interference as the storms to the
west catch up with the lead supercell. Neither of these are expected
to have an impact in the next hour, but may bring some reprieve
    after 06Z.

I remember hearing about this I live in southern Ohio ? We were not far from one of the tornadoes. We didn’t get hit thankfully but I remember growing up in SC and having many Tornado warnings issues some were cry of wolf affect and some were not. But when I was 15? I went to visit my aunt who lived in ironically El Reno Oklahoma? And the year we had to visit of all the years? 2013 and month? Was my birth month May. I asked if I could stay at her house and watch tv and relax she said sure and she and my mom and step dad went to a Walmart in another county? When the Tornado came thru and when my mom called me from the pay phone outside of that Walmart to pre warn me of the Tornado? I could hear the fear in her voice, cause she said it was bad and (clearly she was right) I didn’t know I literally had like 10 mins before it actually hit. My aunt told me to get in her storm cellar so I grabbed her kitten and ran outside for the cellar , right as I went outside back door of her house? I could see it was maybe 2 streets over at that point I knew I maybe had a few seconds to spare. God protected me that day. So yeah god bless everyone in the path of these tornadoes. My cousin was in the path of one. Clarksville Tennessee. She sent me a picture of her and her kids in shelter in their downstairs bathroom. Thankfully they are OK but I don’t think that everybody can say that. (Clearly)

I lived in Ohio for a while and had my fair of EAS Tornado Warnings.... but this one is particularly chilling....
    Like... just imagine it being midnight and pitch black outside and you hear some robotic voice on the TV say "You are in a life threatening situation"... this particular storm took 70 lives and counting....... just tragic ;-;
    Thanks for posting tho.
