It's probably the case that a lot of your competitors figured out what you did. This is always how it happens. The only long term solution is to diversify your marketing and be everywhere you can be. You say you offer a 30% markup on whatever your clients end up spending on ads. So if your client spends $300 per month on ads, then you would charge your client $90 per month for maintenance?
Yes but 300 isn't enough to get results from most ads. Try 3000. You have to remember you're competing with companies that spend more than that. It's not like shopping at Target... business is a competitive sport and you won't be competitive with 1/10 of the budget of the average company.
Be careful. Someone calls to ask if you offer senior citizen discounts, and it costs you 100 bucks. You never hear from that person again, and it may have been your competitor's mom.
A few questions. Let’s say I get google guarantee. Will that also boost my rankings for the organic listings. Also if it’s listing on the call to see if it’s a real customer. Couldn’t I just return all the calls, and not get charged?
Could be a lot of reasons. 1. Not enough customers in your area. 2. Too many competitors in your area. 3. Your not targeting a big enough area. 4. Not enough people searching for your type of service. 5. Google is preferring other advertisers because they are utilizing the platform better. In my experience, GLSAds give you less constrol than other forms of advertising such as Google and Facebook Ads.

How many leads can i get through google ads for kitchen remodeling if I spend $1000? What is the cost per lead here? , I think the quality is better here in google compared to Facebook. What do you recommend?
It completely depends on how much other companies in your area are already paying. If other companies are willing and currently paying 500/lead, then that's the number you'll have to pay, give or take. The industry standard for restoration and remediation companies is 400/lead on Google Ads. There are tools you can use to estimate those numbers but ultimately they are useless compared to just doing it. Run some ads. First, figure out how much you are willing to spend to get a new customer. Is that number $1000? $3000?. What is your profit on your average job? Knowing these numbers can help you go in with targets to reach and let you know if you are winning or losing as soon as you buy some data from Google.

It's contradicting to what he said.. Could you double confirm.. Like is it possible to get 15 to 20 leads in a month for 50/day adbudget ...
@@Balaji-qd5vs It's literally impossible to give you an actual number unless I'm already running ads for that in your area. It differs based on your competition. Google Ads is built on a bidding system. If Contractor A is willing to spend $100 per click, then Contractor B must spend more than that if he wants to be displayed before Contractor A. Cost per lead is just an average number you calculate based on how much you spend total divided by the number of leads you get. Is it possible to get 30 kitchen leads for $1500? OF course it is, somewhere at sometime... That doesn't help you though because you are located wherever you're located right now... The whole number of leads thing isn't relatable either because for some businesses and lead sources, it takes 2 leads to close a deal. In other situations it might take 30 leads to close a deal. Again, those numbers are different for everyone and unless you can access accurate data across tons of companies (YOu really can't), then it's pointless worrying about that. The only thing you can do is 1. Stack the deck in your favor by having a great sales process and giving people the best experience possible and then 2. Try it for yourself. There are 1000's of marketers out there that will sell you this and that. The truth is none of them know exactly how any given tactic will work for you. IF they pretend they do, they're full of shit. The only way to figure out how it will work for you is to try it. Just don't half-ass it because you'll waste time and money and learn nothing.
I don't recommend you run your own Google Ads. It's too easy to spend a bunch of money for nothing. Try Local Service Ads. You pay per call and only pay when you get a call.
So my business has WAYYY more positive reviews than any of my local competitors ..
@@chuckthecontractor ok..thanks . I wanna make sure what you said.. About the industry standards...what you said is 400/lead...ok..thanks for info... But when I asked couple other youtubers like you.. They replied like you could get 20 to 30 leads in kitchen remodeling... I don't know if tha.. Was correct information. But anyways..
@@chuckthecontractor ok. That's informative
How does it work for painters? I couldn’t find the section for painting.
Everything is clear. Brief and clear. No water. Thank you)
Helpful! Thanks!
Thanks for the video
google ad charge me so much way more then my budget what i should do
I don't recommend you run your own Google Ads. It's too easy to spend a bunch of money for nothing. Try Local Service Ads. You pay per call and only pay when you get a call.
very nice explnaation
Best video ever.
thanks bro...
Welcome

Chuck thanks for this video! Hepled me a lot
Ugh, just fire!
Thank you so much for this video! very useful
So helpful
That's just awesome.
Bro discover google local services 6 month ago
How's it working for you?
So my business has WAYYY more positive reviews than any of my local competitors ..
My competitors average 5-10 reviews
I’m at 20+ and 5/5 star reviews… for awhile I was ranked #1 however for some reason google took me down and shut me down… after a hard struggle to get my page back I’m now back on google but I’m no where near the top 20 companies after being #1
My question is, how do I get back? Is it google holding me back? I’m still the top reviews and ranking page, but still only appear around 36th place
People with 4-5 reviews and 2-3 star rating is ranking higher than me
Some pages have no reviews and are still higher than me
That's odd. I would have to take a look to see what's going on. IF your listing used a spammy name or something that could be why. If your website was hacked, that could do it too. It could be 1 of hundreds of things.
@@chuckthecontractor not sure if my page could have gotten hacked, I’m currently using the free google website
@ramonahigh hmm not likely hacked.
@@ramonahigh your problem is probably the free google website. Doesn't sound like you're investing in a proper website with high-quality content, which will bump you down in rankings.
ITS NOT $100 if they call or message you ! Its like $40 😮
It's different for everyone my friend. Different markets = different prices.
Hook me up with these ads Chuck.
How's your business Joe?
Nice try! However, 1123 $ weekly budget = 161 $ daily budget = Rs13,332 daily budget . OMG
What you talking about holmes?
Nope
Great Video Thanks.
Bueno!
Nobody should pay $40 a click 😮
Why not?
If you are spending $40 per click on google ads and think that is normal, you are in some serious trouble.
How much do you pay?
lol
@@abrekd3506 I'm paying $2 per click in an extremely competitive industry in a medium/smaller sized city. Chuck might be a nice guy, but this is a huge difference to what he said at 2:52 . Add to that his professional response of "lol" and I think I'd look elsewhere for your marketing needs.
He is right though that google local services is definitely cheaper, and that if you just answer the phone you definitely don't need to hire someone to "manage" it for you. They do literally almost nothing.
$200 a lead !! That seems very steep 😮
Not if you make $1500 per lead, ehh?
great
You putting this up for free is actually clutch - praise to you
Clear and understandable, I wish there was more information like this.
