- I guess the time has finally come... Atlas vs all of the bosses in the game, and no, this does not include minibosses.
Conditions:
-Grey/Atlas only (featuring Aile for Albert)
-Expert Mode
-No damage
-Hitting weak points is allowed
ABOUT ATLAS-
When we take Overdrive out of the equation, Atlas is a better version of FX. FX suffered from having to use energy when using any kind of punch, because of the fireball that shoots out of it, but with Atlas, it will only shoot out a fireball and consume ammo when it's fully charged. Ground Breaker also got a buff, since now, it can crawl on walls and ceilings, which is both a nice buff, and an annoying one. Considering how most boss rooms are in enclosed areas, you may intend to pull off a double-punch on a boss, only to have a Ground Breaker hit the boss first, and since Ground Breaker has a higher priority value than the second punch, then both that GB and punch will have gone to waste. Also, there have been numerous times when I released a fully charged punch, only for nothing to come out of it (as seen in my fight with Chronoforce), and I have no idea why this happens. When all is said and done, however, Atlas is superior to FX, but the only thing holding her back is the lack of Overdrive, which all Guardian forms in this game suffer from.
WHY I USED GREY-
Ashe's bombs suck. That's about it, really. They have the same priority value as an uncharged fireball, and they only deal 1 damage per second. Also, it does not deal any extra damage to ice-bosses, and it takes longer to kill minibosses, compared to Ground Breaker, so Grey is clearly the better choice when wanting to use Atlas.
WHY I USED ZX FOR ALBERT-
ZX can quickly dispose of Albert's barrier, while it would take an eternity for Atlas to do the same thing. However, I made sure to be careful to not deal a lot of damage to Albert, because I mainly wanted to use Atlas to finish him off. You can see that I hit him a few times with Aile, but I only dealt like 3 damage total using her.

I guess this means Atlas gets to rule the world, huh? All is fair in love and war, you know.
Mostly war in her case, unfortunately
I think it's really interesting that while all other three guardians transformations were a complete downgrade, Atlas' Model F was actually an upgrade compared to FX.
But why are the 3 others downgrades, and why is Atlas' Model F an upgrade?
@@lexo632 When you look at how pretty much all 4 Guardians biometals were nerfed, Atlas' model F is the one transformation that only adds to the base form, unlike the others.
Aeolus: both of his charges are weaker than Hx's broken tornado. They have more range, sure, but deal as much damage as Hx lv.1 charge.
Thetis: Grey's version of his charged attack is literaly the same as Lx. Ashe's variant works almost exactly like Lx lv.1 charge. Except it cannot be used for platforming and it's too slow.
Siarnaq: It remains almost unchanged except they decided to strip his charges between both playable character, so it's an objective downgrade. The shield is now different, as it doesn't really protect him from damage but it's more of a offensive shield (?) if it makes any sense. Which one is better is up for you to decide. Px has both shuriken *and* the shield tho.
Atlas is the only one that her transformation only adds to what Fx had brought originally. Her lv.1 charge now won't spend energy, as it doesn't shoot a fireball anymore. Lv.2 charge is the same as Fx, but now if the fireball hits a wall it causes some sort of "firewave" to run across the wall. And it adds the bomb lv.2 charge for Ashe, which is completely new. While the fireball is a single hit that deals more, damage, the bombs deals less damage AoE. If you get to hit a boss with a large hitbox for example (like Bifrost), it's going to deal more damage than a single fireball.
That's pretty much it. I'm only counting her as an upgrade for her basic moveset compared to Fx tho. As if we count Overdrive, she's still a downgrade, like the other 3.
@@Call0045yeesh. And Harupia was even my favorite Guardian, come on!
Man, she really shreds through Queenbee. Congrats on the run, Atlas is one of my favorite forms in ZXA compared to ZX where FX is my least favorite.
Also, Atlas VS Atlas was hilarious.
I had no idea who was who during that fight, lol
Atlas is a girl
@@avx10tech53 I always forget about that lmao
@@avx10tech53wait what
@@Ocalvolamina yeah search it up lol
Reasons why this video is awesome
1. We get to watch Yoshi kick ass with Atlas
2. We get to listen to Slam Down, absolute banger
3. We get some awesome ZXA voice acting
4. Yoshi got to 200 subs, so perfect timing
Awesome job! Especially enjoyed the aeolus fight
Slam Down is friggin awesome, man! Also, thanks so much for 200!!!
@@ota3933 ZX really hit it right with the battle themes, when I got to the intro boss of ZX I straight up paused the game and sat there listening to rockin' on
The reason why the fireballs didn't work on chronoforce sometimes is because they hit the shell of him as they spawn, as evident from the orange ring when hitting him from below
This happens to other bosses, even when I'm a fair distance away from him, so I don't really think that's the cause of it.
Lol I didn't notice Atlas had a blind spot right in front of her? when firing Buster shots
yeah, ever just dodge a point blank gun shot to the face by standing inside the gun IRL?
Atlas be like: I punch stuff.
She knocks up the competition
Ayo 🤨
I remember turning into the crab after defeating him and learning the hard way that his form is useless out of water
I'm sorry did you just call Chronoforce a *crab*
He is a crab
@@ScreamyngYoshi 🦀 🐳
A horseshoe crab, to be specific
@@ScreamyngYoshi oh fuck you're right I seriously thought he was a whale
Also, I think it would have also been better if the fireball does damage per frame like groundbreaker since the fireball is still shit unless it manages to hit a wall.
True story You problably thought Atlas was a Man
...Not if you played the game...?
@@ToastedBread68 I played but my rom was that has not voice acting and I'm playing megaman to jump and shoot not to read
This video alone is why Atlas is da best out of the 4 Mega Men plus she likes to punch real good. It has inspired me to practice ZXA more
vaya, parece muy intersante. se vendrá uno con "Megaman a" ? xD
The dps is strong with this one
nice moves. 6:14 is fun to watch
She was far from easy, funnily enough ^^;
I think you could take down Albert's Shields faster witht Model A's homing shot.
@@ota3933
But then again he used Aile to remove the shield. What OP was saying is that it’s faster to use the homing shot.
@@amso7169 my favorite way to get rid of the shields is to use Chrono Force to freeze him, then switch to Rospark and just blast shots right up into his bits as fast as you can hit the button.
Punch👊👊👊👊👊👊👊👊👊👊👊👊👊👊👊👊
3:08 Wait why didn't you take damage when she shot her cannons? Is it a sort of an exploit?
Hitboxes, my friend
Yeah they didn't give Atlas the punch hitbox for some reason.
In general, are Ashe's or Grey's versions of the Biometals better for bosses?
Probably Grey's
Yhoo
The voice clips hurt me
I’m pretty sure and don’t quote me on this but I think Ashe’s Bomb actually got nerf’d from the original JPN DS version when it came to the English and LC collection cuz I think they lingered and did more too.But Yea Ashe Model F I wish the bombs were better but overall this was pretty dope to watch especially the Aeolus fight.
difference of abilities in ZXA atlas and ZX model F?
Depends on the character. Grey's Atlas is the exact same as ZX FX, but the fireballs are now capable of setting off a Groundbreaker by coming into contact with a surface, and Ashe's basically replaces that fireball with mines that are a lot worse. Both of em also don't shoot out fire when unleashing a green punch, so that's neat.
In summary: It's a tweaked FX, and a better FX, without overdrive
@@ScreamyngYoshi so a worse FX XD
Man, you ridiculed Albert's second phase.
Dumb me thought I had to destroy all the shields, so I used Model A's homing shot, but...
Man, I'm so dumb.
Actually, I didn't know about Model A at the time, so...
3:08
Did you cheat? Am I on crazy pills or should you have taken damage?
Hitboxes
@@ScreamyngYoshi Jank... anyway, how about a Grey/Ash only run (no mega merge or A-trans).
I don't think a lot of people realize how jank this game was. Sometimes things will hurt you and sometimes they wouldn't.
From my experience, things only hurt me if I touch them omegalul
It just doesn’t have the same magic as the megaman zero series
You cheated…
