    If you want a clean fold line it helps to use red and green aviation snips to make a small nip at each end of opposing sides of your fold line so theirs already a weakness in that fold line.

    That crisp of a bend with that tool takes talent and experience. Great video on how to use a tool few people would understand how to use without instruction.

      It's actually super easy to make a clean bend if the peice your bending is smaller or not that much wider than the jaw.

    Great tutorial! My dad was a sheet metal worker for many years, and I remembered these tools throughout the shops he worked at. An upcoming project reminded me of this tool and I had to search for what it was even called and how to use it. Memory lane over here. THANK YOU!

    Great Video. I acquired a Malco S-6 Seamer and had no idea what it was used for; but with your Video, now I know how it's works. Thanks.

    Great video and extremely helpful. I need to know these kinds of things to get into portable stove making, a passion and hobby of mine (alcohol and kerosene stoves made by hand). This will help with my ability to design a nice look

    Thanks for this content, I plan on purchasing a seamer to bend my own stainless door wrap for a KABA Simplex lock I picked up. Just hoping it will make a proper bend on a few lower (thicker) gauges of steel I need for my project.

    Great video. How to use this material to bend capping to cover your windows trim?

    • @Caliber8Tools
      @Caliber8Tools  Рік тому +1

      Window capping would be very easy you just need metal snips to cut it at the necessary areas.

    Great tutorial on how to fold the sheet metals! 22ga sounds thin but its pain in the ass if you dont have proper tools ! I cut myself so much trying to use flathead pliers before 😂

    How would you bend the other sides in, now that there is a corner?

    • @Caliber8Tools
      @Caliber8Tools  Рік тому

      You would have to cut out the square that forms the corner in order to bend all sides.

    Can this bend iron

    • @Caliber8Tools
      @Caliber8Tools  3 роки тому +1

      Depends on how thick the iron is. Iron usually doesn’t come in thin sheets. This tool would not be ideal for bending thick metal.

    Another way is to put the material in a vice, an use a mallet to form a bend.
    Works for me.

    What an interesting little tool… How easily do you think this could bend a license plate?

    • @Caliber8Tools
      @Caliber8Tools  Рік тому +1

      Depends on where you place it on the license plate. The closer to the edge the easier to bend. However it’s pretty thin gauge metal so it’s shouldn’t be that hard.

    Is this will work diamond metal sheets ?

    • @Caliber8Tools
      @Caliber8Tools  3 роки тому +1

      Aluminum or steel? Either way you have to be careful not to crack it because of the thickness. I wouldn’t recommend using the tool in the video for diamond sheets.
