This mod is fantastic. Definitely worth a re-install of Forces. These people know what makes great boost levels and they went above and beyond (SUNSET HEIGHTS IS NOW ONE OF MY ALL TIME FAV STAGES WITH THIS MOD)
I think mod showcases would definitely work here, after all Cobanermani456 used to do these kinds of videos if anyone still remembers him at all.

What I really like about this mod is that it feels like it sets out to achieve what Sonic Team likely couldn't with this game (obviously no disrespect to the original devs, I fully believe they did what they could). It keeps the same design philosophy of being a spectacle platformer but there's more meat to it, and a lot more spectacle too. This mod almost feels like this is what these levels were intended to be like. If given the maximum amount of time as well as having the creative drive to do so, I feel like the final product would have maybe around 15 stages that are like this. It wouldn't really blow anyone away but it would certainly be a lot more well-liked. It'd be seen as more of a step in the right direction rather than a pointless misstep.
agreed. Having like a few level designers & they were rookies was not a good idea LOL
@@GamesCage well, that, and also the game reeks of "made in a year and a half at most." Those designers probably could've pulled something akin to this out if so much development time weren't focused on the new engine. On that note maybe more time would've also made the game look nicer, they would've had more time to develop for that specific engine and get used to it
Frontiers is a pretty good example of them knowing the Hedgehog Engine 2 a little better and applying it successfully (seriously that game is so pretty)

I love the detail in Sunset City where you can see the warships and hear the resistance members fighting the Death Egg Sentinels. It's such a nice detail!

This mod looks so dope! Its so genuinely good to see these levels expanded as this game's concept had so much potential. Looking forward to some more mods, man!

I have a very soft spot for Sonic Forces, so seeing it finally get the proper treatment it deserved through the modding community is incredible. This version of Sunset Heights is what I imagined the original level would've been, like man! Forces set-pieces and environments are SOOOO HUGE and were epic. Sorely missed potential!

What would make it even better is improving the physics. Less clunky and more controllable. The level designs here are solid though.

You got to play Forces Overclocked it’s insanely good and chapter 1 comes out later this year and this mod is pretty good as well and it’s sad that Forces turned out the way it was. It could’ve been so much better to be honest.

I tried to download this but my web browsers keep blocking the download by saying the connection isn't secure and attackers might be trying to steal info and the like. I don't want to turn browser protection off as it's too risky so I guess I'll just skip this one. It looks really good though.

yes this game fire graphics 2nd plans FIRE,in terms of speed and music. but levels too short we need longer or Forces 2:) hehe .never happens..
Could someone please help me? I have been trying to install this mod using HMM but it just does not work, he game just oots up like its a new game with no save file, any help?
turn on save redirection in the mod manager settings
