Woah, this would've been useful when I re-found this game on the discord like exactly two weeks ago and decided to play it. I couldn't find any tips mostly on the fast spin parts, so I just had to perservere through that by trial and error (And didn't really want to ask because it was released a good while ago), though really the strategy really was just to go fast in the correct way and just had to get it right. Definetly a funny of much enjoy even if I haven't gotten around to finishing the raven boss after getting to like 1/4 hp.
Yeah the game really tests your endurance. I took a break once between some of the mini-games before I had the will to keep going but I was able to beat them all eventually. Space Crab, Egg Cannon and Raven were no doubt the hardest bosses for me, tho Raven's spin attack was kinda easy to me. I either got lucky or just found it easy because it's mostly predictable. There were definitely many frustrating parts in this game, occasionally unfair too, but it's satisfying to beat in the end.
Oh, that's what he meant by spin attacks...thought he meant the one from Raven. To be honest most of the ram attacks aren't that bad. UCO one is easy but since you'll dodge it many times, it can throw you off easily at some point if the UCO stops moving and you ram into it, or if you ram into top left part when the UCO dies. Mother-hen ship ram attack is surprisingly easy. Crab ram is mostly easy but I used pomme which made it 10 times worse.
Yeye, for me the trouble was for example against Mother-hen ship not going too fast to go into the laserbeams yet obviously not going too slow to get rammed. It just took a bunch of tries to see how to move well and that took time because you gotta go through the entirety of the first phase just to have a second of practice on the second. Getting down the UCO was definetly easier. I wouldn't say that the attacks are too relied upon even if obviously more variety is better, because ey it still fit. (Maybe me playing only in the tiny window mode made it harder?) For me the challenge of the Raven is that most attacks can be dodged properly on their own without much issue, but the sheer length makes it punishing for mistakes.
I don't think small window is an issue since I also used that(the reason why the video isn't in such a small resolution is due to me changing it using XMedia Recode). I think you actually shouldn't pay attention to the mother-hen ship's bullets in its second phase too much. I mostly dodged it similarly to how I'd do it with the UCO, really. The projectiles look intimidating but unless you let them take away your attention, they shouldn't be a huge issue. I think that the issue might just be overthinking how to dodge it. But I dunno, I'm no expert. Just trying to help. Also agree about Raven. And I have to say the shield attack is fairly annoying if you use stuff other than absolver beam. It's so easy to dodge but it's just a waste of time for any other weapon. The other attacks, well, it depends. I had issues mostly with the bullet hell attack where it spews bullets randomly all over the place during phase two. Then there's the sunball attack where it throws like 7 of them spread out(not sure if correct number but you get the point). Also the small bullets that are shot like 4 or 5 times at you and are spread out randomly get me sometimes.
10 mini-games out of which most have 3-4 waves where one wave is a classic invasion, second is a boss fight, third is a dick clark fight and fourth is a big chicken fight. However endless trash instead has like 31 or so regular waves and one endless variant of the regular waves, sideways adventure has a longer side-scrolling level instead of a chicken invasion, and the classic CI72 as well as the setup edition of CI72 have no unique boss fights, so those two have 3 waves each. Woodman level has 5 waves and a boss wave. ? mission is strictly a boss fight. So overall...31+3+2+2+3+3+3+3+6+1=57 non-endless waves and 8 waves that are endless.

i suppose i relied on the fast chase attacks a bit too much given that like 3 different bosses have a variant of it
