- Emily English is a nutritionist on a mission - she’s a qualified nutritionist with a BSC from Kings College London, and she now has over a million followers who love her easy & healthy recipes, and simple explanations.
Emily is a glowy picture of health, but it wasn’t until her relationship with food suffered that she decided to explore our relationship with food as a whole.
I can’t thank Emily enough for sharing her story and being so open about the struggles she’s faced to get to where she is now. I really quizzed her in this episode about the fundamentals of diet & nutrition, there’s so much actionable advice in this one. I hope you enjoy it!

Hurt people hurt people. When confronted with trolls, flip your reaction to just feeling pity for them. You are light, and they want to live in darkness. Since you are so empathetic to others, Em, you can’t not feel, so set your timer for 15 seconds, feel the pity for them, then when the timer goes off, it’s all behind you and you go out and shine that glorious light that is YOU in the world. History proves that there have been and will always be “trolls,”….but there will also always be radiant sunbeams…LIKE YOU!

Currently doing my bsc nutrition and we cook as part of my modules and it’s honestly the most valuable aspect as there’s only so much that can be taught off the books, I’m shocked to find out that this is not standard practice

I skipped half of the podcast to reach to nutrition part which unfortunately I didn’t feel Was useful although Grace had good questions there. (Due to limited time I do try to benefit and listen to podcast during my workouts)

i can't imagine how it feels to be in the spotlight and have people say horrible things. I've had a SMALL taste of this on an anonymous article i published and I cannot describe the physical reaction I had to people writing mean things, it's horrible :( people are fucking horrible
