On the eve of her 80th birthday, Martha Argerich continues to fascinate the musical world. Her virtuosity (her bursting octaves), the beauty of her sound, her natural swing, her musical freshness and her very sure taste open the doors to Bach as much as to Romanticism or 20th century music. Her strong personality combined with true modesty and boundless generosity make her an incomparable being and artist, whose untouched youth and beauty evoke one of the wonders of nature for her colleagues and her audience. Sie war schon damals unglaublich gut, ist heute (aber) mit ihren 80, die sie in 2 Tagen wird, einfach nur noch unglaublich.
There is a distinct power and assuredness in her playing that is so reassuring.
Brilliant!!
Martha, mon idole ! Me fait oublier mes 80 ans... Gabriel
She is breathtaking
This woman is a force of Nature!
Frédéric François Chopin, born Fryderyk Franciszek Chopin (1 March 1810 - 17 October 1849), was a Polish composer and virtuoso pianist of the Romantic period who wrote primarily for solo piano. He has maintained worldwide renown as a leading musician of his era, one whose "poetic genius was based on a professional technique that was without equal in his generation."
Magic.
Thank you for bringing these experiences to my door.

And as if all that isn't enough, she has survived cancer three times!
Thank you from the bottom of my heart !!!

Bravo! 👏👏💗🌹🌹🌹
Thank you very much!!!
... Genius...
Magic! I love her.
She's fantastic thanks indeed.
Bravíssimo! Adoro! Sensacional!❤
Exquisite performance. Beautifully performed in every aspect and the Sonata No. 3 in B Minor, Op. 5 is played so dreamy and wonderfully. Magnificent!
Magnificent!
Martha Argerich was a child prodigy and a UFO on the planet of classical piano...
She had the tenacity to make the wonderful career that she still continues today.
She had the courage to face the misogyny in his beginnings as a concert artist.
Thanks for everything and happy Birthday Martha.
God bless you
why does everything have to be able misogyny with you people
"face the misogyny" she literally didn't? Like, she was invited to play everywhere since she was a child and quickly became the most renown pianist in Argentina, getting an invitation from the president at the time (at the age of 12) to congratulate her after playing in Argentina's best theater and offering her to pay for her musical education wherever she wanted (and she chose to study in Viena).
Did you just learn that word yesterday?
Dictionary left the chat
@@BATTIS94 Hello man. You do not know what misogyny is. Do you think a successful woman is treated as a man, ie with respect? Please be quiet.
Merci beaucoup !

아름다운 피아노 연주곡 잘 들었습니다~감사합니다~🎵🎹🌿🍀☘🌹🌹☘🍀🌿❤❤수고 많으셨습니다~☕
Sublime! Divino!
En 1945 interpretó su primer concierto por radio nacional en Argentina.( 5 años aproximadamente)
This is so terrific!!
One of the best pianists along with Daniel Baremboim and many others that Argentina has given to the world.
Baremboim no . Gelber on the other hand ...
@@nihilistlemon1995 Argentina used to be a very European country, specially in the Buenos Aires area. The Colon theatre is one of the best opera venues in the world, even now that the country is in very bad shape.

When you have listened to Sonata #3 here, it's interesting to listen to Martha playing the same piece 55 years later, when drama and struggle have made place for fluidity and ease:
