CHAT WHEN ARE WE GETTING THE THIRD FACTION!?!
There is no third faction, put these undemocratic rumours to rest.
This month, if you ask me. Didn't they straight-up say we wouldn't see them till November at some point?

Honestly, I find the bugs to be harder to deal with than the bots. Probably because they swarm rather than stay at a distance.
You will wish they never showed up.
But they're coming.
Soon. Within 30 days.
I went to the creek at level 5, when I wanted to try bots.... a part of me never left.
We never truly leave the Creek…*and I long for the day we can go home again.*
Level 4 it was for me, first time bots... I will never forget
lvl 7 for me, left good friends on the creek, drowned in the oil, good times.
I believe I was around level 10 or so when at the creek never forget never forget🫡
I went with my friend while I was lv 1 and on medium I never new there was trivial until now
That 8 dropships
the only reason that was happening is cause that "small base" was a detector tower
and when they see a helldivers, they just SPAM bot drops until destroyed, or if they cant see the helldiver anymore
I have the opposite problem. Bugs are harder than bots for me.
I was at the creek. Today I have over 100,000 bot kills and I still haven't paid them back for the horrors I experienced there!
I like to play bots almost exclusively. When a call to arms has me going bugs, it's like a vacation. You can outrun most things in a light jog. Nothing shoots at you and what does has a massive telegraphg.
you can kill the big bad with a primary (the scorcher owns bile titans, just very risky)
Of course I'm just playing, I love bug divers, you do you boys!
I'm a bot diver too, but I don't find bugs "easier". I can outmaneuver the common ones, sure, but chargers go faster than me in a full sprint even with the lightest armor, hunters jump at me constantly and hit me with that acid debuff that slows me down. Also, the bugs have way less lenient reinforcement mechanics than the bots; many more ranks of bugs are capable of calling in a breach than the bots (only bot foot soldiers can call in dropships, while on the bug side anything short of a bile spewer, charger, or bile titan can call in a drop). On top of this, bug breaches come almost instantly and in huge numbers, whereas dropships take about 15 to 20 seconds to show up, can be shot down with a SPEAR or recoilless rifle to instantly destroy all the troops, and don't come in huge numbers unless you're spotted by a detector tower or you're attempting an objective with a lot of aggro. On top of this, bots can be easily outmaneuvered; while the infantry move fast, the heavy units that can take punishment and lay down the fire travel relatively slowly. Dealing with the infantry can be challenging but moving from one objective to the next and using strategems to take care of heavies from a range can be quite doable if you get into a good rhythm.
I find both factions just about equally challenging for these reasons.
It feels like a turkey shoot when I play bugs. I am not too used to the playstyle so I do die more on bug front, but they are still so much easier to handle. The bots shoot back and the reinforced striders are my favorite enemy. They come in many numbers, have insane weapons, and are fast enough to keep up with you. They do have many counters and are easily dispatched, but they are a danger that you cannot run away from. I hope tanks and factory striders get a little speed buff because they are pretty much target practice atm. But, yea, the bugs are kinda underwhelming
1:27 I was also wondering why they came in such high numbers, but then I saw the tower. Sauron's eye (detection tower) is the worst thing, it doesn't stop calling ships when you're detected until you either die or blow it up. :')
First ever mission i went on, even before i completed basic was the Creek, ill never forget what i saw there
As a player who generally prefers the bugs and absolutely hated the bots, but has done a lot of bot missions with the recent major orders, bots aren't nearly as bad as I used to think they were. If you're a good shot with an antitank you can snipe bot bases and dropships and then just dip and head to the next location. I do think that a horde of bugs are generally easier to deal with than a platoon of bots, but I also think that closing up a dozen bug holes in a single nest is more difficult than taking out two or three fabricators in a bot base.
It'd be cool if the bugs had more to them. Like, maybe if you kill the big one in a group, the smaller ones will back off and regroup around another big one, letting you basically deny waves in exchange for them building up a considerable force when you do. Bots will just be unable to hit you if you sit there firing near them with a machine gun, and whole portions of their waves can be denied by taking down dropships, but there's no such equivalent for bugs.
I much prefer bots to bugs. I think bots reward skilled play a lot more than bugs, and their bases and reinforcements are easier to handle for me than bug holes or bug nests.
Also I never left Malevalon Creek.
Yes average bots experience, the real side of the game
For me a swarm of bots is hard to overcome but is avoidable whilst a swarm of bugs is inevitable at every second on the higher difficulties(i could be bad but its whatever i just do diff 7 or lower for bugs).
On my last automatons mision i was send in to space and i waf forced to come back on the planet without my hellpod
Remember kids, helldiving without a hellpod is very deadly
Its probably my playstyle, but when im playing solo i always find bots way easier than bugs at the same difficulty
My first mission was a solo bot dive. I still don't know how I got a perfect score.
Try out the Shield Generator Relay Sentry Stratagem when you go against Bots. 360* Shield Coverage on a 77 Second Cooldown ( Max Upgrades ) and last for 40 seconds also try calling it down AFTER Evac lands on the ground to make it easier to get out. Do note, it will provide cover for anything inside the shield and this counts for the Bots too. CALL IT IN LAST AS DROP PODS WILL DAMAGE AND DESTORY THE SHIELD.
Tbh people say bugs is easy and bots is Hel but I think they are pretty Equal, you get overwhelmed against bugs and piled on, and in bits you deal with lots of range enemies
Now try to do it with randoms! ....*New Difficulting unlocked!*
Go a head mock the bugs. The game's dificulty is dynamic. Not all super hell dives are the same on every planet. I was there when divers finally pushed into the bugs back line before the gloom started. When the divers landed on omocron it was a blood bath. The bugs immediately slaughtered every diver on the planet and started a four system invasion. One that pushed us back to the current battle lines. Also I notice an alarming lack of having your LZ be sandwiched between three stalker nests or landing in a heavy base surrounded by shrieker nests. Random noobs make everything harder. And remember the bots got a sub faction in the jet brigade. Its only a matter of time before we get a bug sub faction
fastest eight minutes of my life
I'm a second-gen Creek Crawler. Killing tinskins is my specialty, and I just kinda flail around on bugs XD
Level 7 bots is my go-to with even just one friend. Level 7 bugs feels like an absolute nightmare XD
Also, the walking barrage is an absolute life saver in this game
Walking barrage for bots is S tier. Outposts fear this one simple strat
ngl I find bots easier to deal with than bugs
@@anspecificindividual9016 I think bugs are easier, firstly because bugs don't have guns. Secondly, the bugs don't have Factory Striders or rocket striders
@@youseemerage9711
when you have about a dozen rocket striders and two or three factory striders, bugs dont seem too bad.

Playing against the bugs is akin to your bro giving you an unplugged controller
Honestly impressed this group is playing on dif 10.
