    Liked when Al mentioned the huddling. Sherrone used an extra long huddle against OSU in the 4th quarter. Took more time off the clock. They then sprinted to positions, began the motions. Kept subs out, sustained the drive and ATE the clock. Thought it was a brilliant move.

    Here's my final analysis:
    In the age of spread offense, RPOs, no huddle and up tempo approach, it does my heart good to see an old school, hit you in the mouth, huddle team, with an imposing and opportunistic defense, win it all. This was the ultimate in complimentary football. Michigan established what it takes to win in today's football, and it isn't what most people thought based on the "in vogue,"contemporary schematics of modern day football. Bo is somewhere smiling.

    Michigan scored 35 points in the second half of the TCU game after they stopped shooting themselves into the foot with 2 pick sixes and 2 goal line fumbles in the first half.
    The did that without Rb1 Corum, with Rb2 Edwards playing at 50% (broken hand and injured knee) and Rb3 Mullins just back from playing Lb for the first 11 weeks of the season...
    Oh, and the Lb room was totally devastated by injury, leading to freshmen being exploited by a 5th y senior mobile qb.
    This year, both the Rb and Lb rooms are deep and healthy.
    Prediction:
    UM 42
    UW 27

    • @johndavidlatta8192
      @johndavidlatta8192 6 місяців тому +2

      UM has not played even ONE decent offense all year, least of all one that can pass really well. No one knows how Michigan will do against an actual good offense with an elite aerial attack. Michigan is built just like Oregon (although Oregon has more blue chip talent). Dan Lanning (Georgia's old DC) has built Oregon just like Georgia - no weaknesses, big, strong, mean and great defense and great offense. A better run game than Michigan. And UW beat Oregon. Twice. But Michigan has faced no one even remotely like UW.

    • @aaronharris5069
      @aaronharris5069 6 місяців тому +1

      Washington hasn't faced a defense like Michigan all year round. For this reason, I would take a great defense over a great offense. I believe it will be Michigan 35, Washington 21. Go Blue! 〽️💛💙🏆🌹

      @johndavidlatta8192 all you hush puppies say the same thing. You know who wins? Whoever plays the best defense and can get their offense going. You think yall defense is better than Michigan's? If Oregon had any defense or washing it would've been a low scoring game yall damn near put up 70 points that = NO DEFENSE. . 😂😂😂😂

      @@aaronharris5069 Facts Wash had 500 pass attempts against them with an average of 6.4 yard per pass. Michigan 300 pass attempts with an average of 5.8 yard per pass but the top defense against the pass because you faced no top 25 offense fake defense, Utah defense rated 17 Oregon 13 Ucla 9 so much for not facing top defense

      Michigan has more talent than Oregon. Far more. Michigan will have at least ten players drafted. Washington defense will get pushed around this game, I think Michigan scores 45. Washington has given up 30+ in six games so imagine what Michigan will accomplish. Michigan 45-35.

  • @user-cg6vo2tj3j
    @user-cg6vo2tj3j 6 місяців тому +7

    This is going to be a game of 3 and outs. The more 3 and outs the Michigan defense can force, the better. That will give the offense the opportunity to eat up huge chunkss of the clock by running the ball. I do believe that Michigan will be able to run steady and consistently on Washington.

    This matchup reminds me a lot of the TCU one from a year ago. Some keys will indeed be time of possession and NOT TURNING THE BALL OVER.

    The PAC 12 is top to bottom the best league this year. That being said the Big 10 is by far the toughest defensive conference. With that in mind, dropping the lowest and highest score then taking the average points per game against power 5 competition. Michigan has averaged 37.7 ppg. While Washington with that so called high powered offense against much weaker defenses averaged 35.4 ppg. The only way Michigan loses this game is if Michigan tries to sit on a lead. They have to attack whatever Washington gives them for 60 minutes. If they try to sit on a lead running clock 3 yards in a cloud of dust into a stacked box. They will lose. Act like you are the better team. You never see Nick Saban trying to sit on a lead. He attacks until the game is over. Michigan must do the same and this isn't even close.

    How accurate was the preview?
    • I predicted 38-21, the score was 34-13, "I think it will be close for a while"
    • Edwards is always a threat- "I think he could be a big factor in this game" Tite zone for +41, Duo +46
    • JJ on a bluff zone for a gain of +12 on play 44
    • " they need to throw 4 to 5 shots" - play 10 of the game was a shot for a 37 yard gain to Roman
    • misdirect with Nakeds- play 5 was a naked complete to CJ for +10
    • test the edges with the power and counter play- play 6 was a power for 14 yards
    • continue to shift and motion but don't expect to break guys wide open like against Alabama. -this is exactly what happened
    • JJ should not be afraid to take off if no one's open - he did just that for a key 3rd and 8 for a 22 yard gain on play 43
    • jumbo package- play 12 was a jumbo dbl wing duo for a 46 yard touchdown
    • high percentage throw early - stick route on the second play of the game for 8 yards and a 1st down
    • we talked about pin and pulls and insert zones- both showed up
    •Running the football (303 rushing yards)and forcing Washington to force the ball in their passing game lead to 2 interceptions by a suffocating Michigan defense.
