I don't see how everyone just dismisses the spring game Davis Warren had. He looked amazing out there I thought. Moved in the pocket well and got rid of the ball. Threw the ball fantastic. I thought the kid looked amazing! The last time I had this feeling in my guy about a QB was Brian Griese and he delivered a great season. I am struggling with what I saw in the spring game but I guess the good thing is there is still plenty of time for someone to win the job

Davis reminds me of a poor man’s JJ. But he did not look great in real game situations last year, and that was against backups. Orji played in some big games and made some big plays. If Orji can get his passing game at least up to Milroe’s level, he will be lethal. If not, he’s essentially a faster, more athletic Joe Milton IMO.

I don’t think it is dismissed but Davis has had good spring games before. Spring game MVPs often return to back up roles or even obscurity (e.g O’Leary) because the Spring Game is just a single spring scrimmage and doesn’t usually mean much.
The Davis Warren story is the 21st century version of 'Rudy.' If he can overcome Leukemia, he can overcome anything including the best defenses in college football.
Hey great video. I am curious about this leadership discussion. Does the position coach go to them and say they need to take charge. It can all be organic but managed by the coaches. Is that right? Just wondering.
No Michigan is different. The coaches don’t need to tell the players to lead. The players lead because that is the culture that Michigan has created
