Probably my favorite game. Awesome truck, awesome engine sound, great driving and a great video! Because I'm quadriplegic I cannot use my hands but I play this game using only one knuckle on the keyboard. It's not easy to do but I do OK. It took a lot of practice. Any ways, thanks for sharing! @@HammerLane79 No problem man! Yeah, I love playing this game, it's relaxing just driving. When I was a kid between the ages of 10-15 my dad had his own mobile home moving business. Over the course of those roughly five years he had three different trucks and each one was better than the last. I don't remember what the first one was but it wasn't even a diesel, it was some gutless gas engine cabover truck with a six speed and a splitter I think they're called, basically a two speed rear end. The second truck was a White brand cabover that was a diesel, it was quite a bit better. And the last truck he had was a mid seventies International Transtar, I believe it was a 4070A. And that truck had a Detroit 8V-92 and a 13 speed Road Ranger, it was leaps and bounds better than the previous two trucks! LOL! I wish I could find an International Transtar mod but the only ones I found aren't compatible with the latest game update. I downloaded an engine pack mod from the workshop, one of the engines is an 8V-92 and it sounds identical to my dad's truck! So I put that in my KW K100E, it sure brings back memories! LOL! I thought you'd enjoy the story. Definitely a fun game! I wish I could use a steering wheel and foot pedals. Anyways, take care and God bless!
@@krisjato There is a Transtar mod by Blades but I'm not sure if it's been updated and there's been some questionable reviews lately so make sure you do your homework; sounds like your Dad has some cool trucks

I think you know but if you lift the 3rd axle the truck turns normally the same thing happened to me with that truck the front axle remains in the air and great video👍
Steven thanks, the excavator was 160,000 pounds so I assumed it was that causing it but I'll try that the next time I use the truck
Agreed. Unless the lift axle is steerable, leaving it down with heavy load in sharp turns will cause truck to lose steering. I always lift in tight turns.

I see what you was talking about with the forward axle drop your sliding rather then turning someone needs to fix that its supposed to assist not hender still a Beautiful combo okay back to the video.
@stevenandrewcallicottjr thanks, I think part of it was I had a huge load on that trailer and should have had more tire support but it was a handful to steer!
@@HammerLane79 but you did real good. And I didn't even think about that. I didn't know the simulator was that real. Well if that was what was going on then cool i'm glade it's that real so you need a truck with twin steer two steer boxes or a pusher axle might work a little less forceful but it might do the job and go get you a jeep and a stinger or maybe just a jeep might work a three axle anyway Great video Thank You keep it up.!

Lindro 889 thanks, it's a cool mod....you can build both a regular and Wide Hood model. It's been a while since I bought it but I don't think it's originally compatible with Zeemods but it's easy enough to update the files to make them work

Dennis I own all of the State DLC's to have more roads; most of my newer videos have links to the trailer mods I'm using to give you some ideas to add variety to the base game
You lift your drop axle when turning them set it back down. The only one you leave down when heavy is a gravity steer.
What switch is that in shifter?

Blake it's done through making a separate paint skin file for the truck; there's some good videos on here that walk through the process

That understeer is crazy! How much was your gross vehicle weight?
The excavator was 160,000lbs and the truck and trailer setup alone probably weighs around 45,000-50,000lbs give or take so around 210,000lbs gross

John that's a good question, I bought the mod when I was past that level but hopefully others will chime in with an answer
I definitely see what you mean your definitely sliding more then your turning someone needs to fix this cause this is definitely not real no matter if you have a single steer or a twin steer your not supposed to be like that Beautiful rig though but not real on the steering I hope the builder fixes this cause if not it's a shame to waste such a Beautiful rig but i definitely won't be driving it... one day.
need to pick that drop axle up when you turning big guy and she won't push when turning tight. watching the video more she's acting like there is to much air in the drop a le bags I don't know if you can adjust it should be 70 to 100lbs no more with a non steerable
