Dead Sea elevation is -1400ft. That’s approximately -400 meters. At that elevation, water does not boil at a “much, much higher temperature” as you say, but at merely 101 degrees Celsius. Definitely not the 176 degrees Celsius you report!!!
so..... why does a kettle 'stop' for a few seconds way before the 100C point? Why does the sun evaporate water when it does not need to reach 100C boiling point? Rivers and seas do not boil yet they evaporate. I was always taught that there is a time where kinetic energy is needed in the process to make this change happen. It stops heating as extra energy is required to evaporate the water. We did a simple lab test proving this to be so the temperature remained in 'limbo' as the energy was drawn. The temp levelled out at around 77C and then increased. So.... evaporation must take place way before boiling point. Maybe I'm dumb but it's worth asking someone who can can do a simple lab test !
I've just watched a video about boiling water at Periodicvideos ( /watch?v=sCh2T9axLyY ) and, while trying to find another video to learn some more about the subject, I found another whole -and apparently great- educational channel. I love when that happens :-)
2019, and yet very very helpful. So precise and good real-life examples. Thank you!
Excellent..control on your speed.
Brilliant examples to bring the content to life. Thank you!
I like this pace! Thank you! Very helpful!
Thanks for clearing my concept.
very helpful thank you for making this video!
thanks for giving a clear view on boiling point
wow, thank you very much, so much clarity ...
Clear and simple. Thanks 💕💕
This was awesome thank you!!!
176oC boiling point at the Dead Sea is way too high. Can we double check the data? A quick check on the net shows otherwise.
thank you. This really helped.
This videos are so helpful to me. My friends always want me to share them by facebook when a test is coming up. Lol.
🤯🤯🤯🤯🙀🙀🙀 I finally understood this topic
terrifically helpful
you just got a new subscriberrr!
Relax
Thanks ^^
Thanks! For clearing my concepts!
How to get or follow her teaching....
??? whyyyy sooooo fast?
Thank you
i really like fast .but equillibrium can't be established in open container
Perfect pace
are you running from something? :O
well explained thank you two years later lol
Very nice teaching..... I need u r more teaching video......
Chappper cchappppper chapppppppe......... 😂😂😂

Plz define chrmistry
Very nice explanation
Thanks
Though the speed was high
But for me it was ok
Amazing lecture
thank
Guess you can say that Maroons point boiled
You know you can just stop complaining and set the video's speed to 0.75 if yoy think shes talking too fast

Cute teacher
Thxs I actually got all of that thxs a lot☺️☺️
Tq mam very useful
Excelent!!
good video.
Boiling point 176 C at the dead sea? At 2 atm the boiling point is 120C. What is the atm pressure at the dead sea? 50 atm? He he you are kidding me...
She sound like ralph kramden
I am from india I love your teaching
2023 ❤
change the video speed in 0.75 . Your welcome.
Mam ur lecture is so usefull but u talking so rapidly Plz mam
Man how fast do you speak
What? You’re too fast
If she's too fast for you then slow the speed to 0.75 -_-
Abdul Hakim thanks
i thought i was the only who thought this was too fast
and nice
she talks to fast
Madam please explain slowly
This wasn't helpful because you spoke too fast so I didn't understand a word. Sorry but please try and talk slower or there's no point
