I love how Banjo-Kazooie being just an innocent, old and cartoonish children's game can generate more fear than a lot of Horror Movies OST with just their music.
@@DOGSHOT While that is partially correct, this game scares me more then AAA releases Probably because it's hard to make a scary game when you're trying to sell loot boxes and battle passes
@fgjsdfgjkl I don't really find jumpscares frightening, since I can typically predict them. Also, I don't find Banjo & Kazooie scary at all, just that it uses horror techniques (in a comedic way, but still) that most games nowadays don't really use, most modern horror just uses a million jumpscares
@fgjsdfgjkl Things such as lighting, musical ques and a personal thing of mine, phasmophobia. But as I said, I just don't find most horror nowadays scary, mainly cause you can't really monetize horror like you can other genres
I was always scared of this when i was a kid and since its going to be October soon i will play this out loud i will play it in my speaker outside my house when its Halloween and for trick or treaters to feel scared!!
@@silverseth7 Same. Mad Monster Mansion never scared me but the deep underwater theme in Clanker's Cavern scared me as a kid, even as a 27-year-old woman it makes me uncomfortable but I like it now. The best way I'd describe the feeling is like the water pressure is so extreme it's like it's going to crush my skull. It was like the music said to me "okay, Victoria, go in and do what you need to do and get out of here IMMEDIATELY"
I always loved this level, it was so much fun. It was a fun Halloween-themed level, the teehees were a little scary in how they could go through the maze and impervious to everything but the wonderwing, but overall I always had fun here. I think this was the only level where the hub is actually outside (unless Spiral Mountain counts). My favorite variation is the one with all the bells.
I had to turn the volume all the way down on my junky Funiai VCR-TV combo as a kid so I could just about grit my teeth and get through this level hahaha

For me, the scariest music is the Deep in Clankers, from way down at the key. It's got pressure-on-eardrums-hiss built in, and set me right on edge

I always loved this level, it was so much fun.
