I'd like the jazz if it was in the background. In a real coffee shop, at least one that I would patron, the music isn't blaring in the forefront. It should be soft and subtle.

yes this is one of the best ones I've found on YT for all these reasons. I usually dont look at the video as I'm working, but this one is so great because of the passing cars, people and even the laptop screen changes!

What I love about this is the fact that there are many different components. After the first three minutes of most ambience videos, you’ve seen all there is to see. But this had something new throughout the whole video. The multiple people outside, the thunder, the leaves, the cars, the changing intensity of the rain, the lights and plants swinging from the ceiling, the random videos on the computer screen, the background sounds. It was super relaxing. Thank you for this. Great job.

I will also ask if one day you could have an 1800's Victorian Boudoir. A fireplace, the bedroom in shadows and sounds of someone getting ready for bed. Off in the distance, the rustle of clothing, hair brushing, and water running in another room so quietly. The settling in bed, the turning of a book, the light sounds of footsteps past the door. Sounds of doors shutting, a family retiring for a Winter evening's slumber.
Wind and the rattle of a window. All the sounds I remember as a child living in an old Victorian home on Long Island, NY.

@@shelbytrautman180 mmh the last one I saved was from Cosmic Resort, "Coffee Shop Rain Ambience" (although I have to say I STILL come back to this one ahah) :)
I get sensory overload really bad sometimes, and one of the big triggers for that is voices; I can’t do most layered ASMR no matter how soft it is.
This video has the voices just right, so quiet that it’s white noise almost like water in the background, and it’s PERFECT.

Please do an antique book shop. I love the sounds of thick pages turning, newspaper rustling, and fountain pen scratching on paper. Also you could add the sound of an antique cash register. They might even have a coffee shop in this bookstore. Even better if there's a blizzard going on outside, and every time someone opens the door, a rush of cold air comes blustering into the shop.
With the sound of the old fashioned bell above the door, quietly ringing and a small fire.
It would be absolutely perfect.

After so many years I still come back to this. It soothes me. I love this for all the reasons other people have mentioned. No background (jazz) music, the movement of people and cars, all the little details and sounds... it feels alive.

Coffee shops were always a huge love for me. The scent of coffee, the sounds of it being made, the casual ambience inside and the part of me either chilling alone with a book/tablet or chatting with a friend, were always an amazing time in my day. Sometimes I would intentionally choose to go for long distance walks in the afternoon just to get to a certain coffee shop and buy a coffee to continue my walk with.

A year later and I still love this video. About a couple days ago my anxiety tried creeping up on me as I was going to bed and I was not having it. Tried playing a video before this and it wasn’t helping much, but the moment I played this video (and did some breathing exercises)- I felt comforted, I felt safe, like I knew I’d get through it and be falling asleep soon. Adding things outside like the cars and the runner really add something extra to an ambience video. Sometimes for some ambience videos the outside world is so barren and lifeless because it's just a still picture. It adds so much to the experience having that in there, and makes it so much more realistic and lifelike. Much more immersive

Honestly still one of my absolute favourites! I love that the rain is soft and not so sharp sounding in the foreground. All the sounds are pleasant (especially thet hunder) and non-distracting to me. A lot of ambiances don't actually help me focus, but this one does! Thank you!

Wow, thank you for posting this, love the ambience, all the windows, and the people who are free to run, walk etc. Almost one month on lockdown in the Central Valley. I really miss the coffee shops and people, the whole human drama. I added some jazz and it was lovely.
I listen to this at work with my earphones on. My coworkers talk pretty loudly mixed with other noises (closing cabinets, people cutting their nails at their desks, etc) and it’s too distracting. This really calms me down during a busy day. I’m thinking of investing in noise canceling earphones so I can enjoy just the sounds from this. I appreciate this video very much, thank you!!

There are many coffee shop ambiance videos out there, but somehow this one is just the best! Something about the light chatter, the sound of drinks being made and stirred, the appropriate level of muffledness of the light thunderstorm...even the occasional laptop notifications! I keep coming back to this one for studying and work. :)

I keep coming back to this one. It just works so well for me. It helps to hear someone occasionally tapping away on a laptop when I'm trying to get work done on the computer. Plus the thunderstorm is so cozy feeling. And peoples' intelligible chatter is also relaxing.

I'm in the process of doing a very tedious and complex online course. Working in a coffee shop would make it a bit easier, but now I live in a rural space, so I'm not close to any town or many people.
