Is there a way to change the MOD30 for needle down position??? So infuriating when trying to do some basic applique.

Margaret, page 12 of your instruction manual explains how to set your Needle Stop Position Setting for your MOD-30 machine.

6700P isn't very user friendly like the touch screen. They released the 6750P, and hoping they will revise the 6700P to a 6750P, then I'll jump in. It's a very nice machine though, and anyone would be lucky to have one. It would take some getting used to, which I hope Janome improves upon.
