My dad used to put all his valuables in the grand father clock. This just brought back that memory
The mat you'd use for camping is a roll mat, you'd put your sleeping bag on it to give a slight bit of comfort but more to stop the cold.

Morning fab vlog as always the clock is great i would put spare keys in there out of the way and suitcase keys always go walkabout my sunday morning started early as i have inherited a dog as my mum in law passed away a week today so he had me up to early barking i suppose he'll get use to a new place take care x

Lots of lovely things as always. I’m feeling very springy even with all the rain and am thinking of all sorts of things to refresh in our home. More storage is always top of our list as we live in a bungalow 😊

The winter thyme candle is the best candle I’ve ever had , I buy them every year, when they burn down I use the leftover wax in my burner . I wish they made bigger ones .
I would have also chosen the biscuit tin and the pudding bowl. The clock is nice too.
Oh, that clock in the kitchen could house vitamins. I always resent giving them cupboard space 😅
I spotted two good presents for Luke and Kate at the car boot sale. I wish I could smell the thyme candle. You've created me the necessity to buy some leather balsam. While watching you on my tablet, I'm scrolling the amazon app on my phone looking for leather creams and keep safe clocks 😂😂.
Today I can at last say that we have had some rain, although not much where I live. It has also snowed! The nearest mountain we have around here, (I can see it from my window) Montserrat, in Barcelona, was white this morning! Now the rain has moved on to the east, to the Marseilles and Monaco zone.
Wishing a great and cozy Sunday to whoever has rough weather where they are, and to the lucky ones with good weather, enjoy staying outdoors with family, friends or just having a stroll by they own. ❤

Exciting..😇😉 the mood you've got are great, for wooden flooring, your washing, always use mine, if you go back to Lidl, in a week or 2, you'll get the mop heads for £1,00. Stock up.. look for a Pilates machine, 2,Nd hand, you won't regret it. 💪🧔 They just fold up. But get the stand to heighten it up off the floor.😊
Love anything branded from Fortnum's, and the clock is brilliant!
I had a Lemon Thyme plant once - loved running my fingers over it - it smelled wonderful. I wish I could find a perfume with the same scent. Now I 'make do' with Rosemary by the exit gate and run my fingers through before leaving home. Oh I did have a Curry Plant there for a while but fingers scented with curry is not as appealing :)

I'm originally from Canada and went to flea markets. I miss the charity shops. I also miss Canadian chocolate, Kit Kat and Smarties.
@@kithill6817 I will bring those with me if I ever get to England!! I want to send some to Mr. Carrington to try as he has tried the U.S. brands but not ours! Plus some candles that we get from Bath & Body... they should open a store in London! Surprised they haven't yet!??

Loved the goodies but did I see that you left the Maggie Mug behind? That had Luke's name all over it! I love the clock and I think it could be recessed into a wall. Something to ponder. I might have to find a space for one myself. 👍

Fort/Mason make dip in there, side salad, soup etc. Floor mop, I use it on te windows to both clean or get rid of condensation and clean the ceiling. Really handy.

I picked up the exact same F&Mason pudding basin which i found in a charity shop in Twickenham it cost me £3.Ive already made a steam sponge in mine.

Your finds are amazing, I’m definitely going to go and get one of those mops fro Lidl 👍 I actually bought a clothes airer in the same brand from Lidl …. Probably over 20 years ago … and it’s still going! I do need to get a new one now as a few of the bits are broken but I have never found one good enough to replace it - even from Lidl. They just don’t seem to make it anymore 😢

If you place the clock in the kitchen it could hold band-aids, gauze pads, and antibacterial spray or cream for culinary mishaps.
Good stuff you got clock. Yeah there’s one in IKEA a red one I used to have and you can put stuff in. It looks quite good. I’m thinking of looking for that one in the spare room brilliant 👍😊

The clock is very nice, I would store vitamins in it! Perhaps even aspirin, drugs to keep away from the kittens.

Don't use too much of the saddle soap as it can make the leather feel tacky and smudge. Better to clean a couple of times. Use a slightly damp cloth not something totally soaked and polish before it has fully dried.
Thanks for sharing. ❤ If I had a clock like this i would like to store something I dont use all the time as it would probably be a bit higher up. So for me I would probably store my batteries in there. Curious to see what you end up putting in it.

That saddle soap is the one we use out here in cowboy country in Canada. Best on the market! Follow the directions to a tee and your leathers will last for decades!! Makes them soft and supple and flexible as to not crack.
I like the storage clock! I’m thinking it would be a great place to keep extra keys so that (1) they are not easily lost, and (2) they are hidden from view in case of a burglary. (I’m from California, USA, so I’m always thinking of safety!)
I would add little 3M Command hooks to the inside to hold the keys. 😊
I would put essential oils in the clock.

I used to use a foam mop for my walls, but now I just use my steam cleaner. I have the Karcher sc3, and it takes no time to freshen up the whole room. Obviously, if the steam cleaner is more like steam mop, then I wouldn't try it, as it will not be safe. 😊 with saddle soap little goes a long way, and once finished cleaning and reconditioning the leather, let it dry away from heat and sun sources 😊

hi if you're intending to maybe redye your vintage bags, i wouldn't use the saddle soap first as you would need to remove it before dying.
Yep. And you need to remove the old dye first. I use acetone.
@@dawnlovejoy8917 yes me too! it removes anything used previously that could create a barrier between the leather and the dye.

I was hoping you had bought the Fortnum and Mason pudding bowl, fab little find. Use the saddle soap sparingly (you can build up layers) and let it dry naturally in between.
Some good bargains at the car boot especially the Fortnum and Mason dish. Really liked the mop from Lidl worth the money. The safe clock is a good idea xx
