It's only the 8th day when Jack gives his live together die alone speech. Which is an outstanding speech btw. That's not a whole lot of time for people that were put in this situation, to come to terms with what they need to do. That being said, it's becoming time, and in Jack's speech, he tells them just that. This is such a great show. The mysteries of the island are great, but it's really a character driven show, at least to me. I love seeing the character development. There's some pretty good acting too, and they get better. Glad you're enjoying this show, it's my favorite tv series period.
I really appreciate the reactions! Keep up the excellent work! I watched this show as it came out, and we had to wait a week between episodes! I don't remember all the speculating that I did, but I am sure every theory and guess was wild! I appreciate seeing what someone might be thinking watching it for the first time.
Live together die alone is one of my favorite scenes on this show. It's the essence to humanity. Haha, your buttons are gonna get pushed over this six season journey. Mostly, I consider this show a masterpiece. Can't wait to see your future reactions!

In the first script of the series, Jack was supposed to die at the end of episode 1 leaving Kate the role of leader. Michael Keaton (Batman of the late 1980's) was to have the role. But the writers decided to keep Jack. Keaton couldn't stay on the show for more than one episode, having plans elsewhere. So Matthew Fox came along and he's great on the show.
"Live together, die alone". Jack's father died alone, Jack is trying to live together with the other survivors now.
Funny thing, survivors want water. Only Johanna would have liked there to be less. 😁
science teacher told me that water runs from high elevation to low elevation so if looking inland start looking up
I also like the Australian accent, but in many ways it also depends on the performance! there are actors who really fits a British accent and you can listen to them all day, for example, Emily Blunt :)
