I have made several projects. I especially like how you explain and show (closeup) what it should look like. Slowly and softly. However I’m having issues with your easy yellow slippers. Mine looks like one round disc! Circle. What am I doing wrong?
@@nadiacoughran8163 Nadia it's not you, it's me. There is a mistake in the video. When you have 24 stitches totally, stop increasing. And keep following the video. I accidentally cut off the part where I said this.
Hello from Canada. I've tried many tutorials for slippers & I must say this is the best slipper & the instructions are very clear. I've only been crocheting 5 yrs all self taught from utube & only crochet using tutorials on utube. I just completed a pr of these slippers in about 1 hr & 15 min. I am making a bunch of these to be donated to moms & dads that are staying in a special facility to be close to their children while they are in the hospital for serious illnesses or receiving special medical attention.
Hi Jannette. I am so happy to read you like this tutorial. The reason you use my tutorial made me more happy. ❤ Thank you for making me part of this great idea❤Loves from Turkey
OMG AND you have cats 😎😎🥰🥰😻😻 Purrfect. I found a pair my aunt made (worn out), but don't know how to make a new pair. These look very similar. I have hope!!😅 🙏🏽❤️
This Canadian gal just completed my 1st pr of these slippers using a #4 hook which works perfect. In stead of making 12 rows I did 10. Its a tighter stitch & it works excellent. Started my 4th pr now. Thanks for a great video
I am a 91 year old Nebraskan who has been crocheting since I was 16. Kudos to you for a genius pattern. The way you closed the heel was magic. I did a change in the ribbing you might find helpful. In order to achieve a more gradual tightening I did 1st 2 rounds with an H hoòk, 3 and 4 rounds with G hook and the last round with fbhdc and hdcbc alternating. Perfect comfort as I could try on as I went. Tks for sharing and also linking to written patter.
Here from Brazil. I amaigsome f tese wonderfuly simple slippets for the people of Rio Grande do Sul which has been flooded for a month. It's getting really cold there and more than 56.000 people are homeless at the moment. They have lost everything. Thanks for sharing and know that you are indirectly helping all these people. Thank you.
Thank you so much for this pattern. I cannot tell you how many attempts I have done to make slippers and they never turn out the same size or they never turn out right. This is so simple and they're beautiful when they're finished. Thank you again so much for a wonderful pattern! 🥰
I've made several of these, experimenting with wool weight and hook size. 5.5 mm hook and grade 8 wool made a lovely sturdy chunky pair of house socks. Many of the online crochet tutorials go way too fast for me. This is the best one I've found. I'm a very untalented beginner but I could follow this pattern- thanks!
- Thank You again!!! I’m currently crocheting one of your hats as a Christmas present, but now I’m going to make these slippers for myself because it’s so cold to walk on my floor. And it’s about a hundred years from spring... Then I can continue with the hat.
I love this crochet pattern. It's so quick and easy. You are a good teacher. I made my first pair with Patons wool (USA) and they are so comfortable and attractive. Even my husband likes them. I'm making his first pair next. I love your channel.
Awesome thank you , I m self taught by watching you tube videos, and this is one of the best ones I have come across. Going yo make some for Christmas gifts. Thank you again.
Thank you from Arizona, USA. I started several different slippers and got lost. I am new to crocheting. I was finally able to finish with your wonderful tutorial!🤗💞💓💖💗🤭
You are the best. I absolutely love this pattern and it is very easy to change the size. thank you so much for sharing. When I get finished with them all I will post some pictures for you.
I have been crocheting for a good number of years ,and slippers 🥿 are one of the most beautiful and comfortable ones that my family love getting for the holidays. I use bernat yarn it is a bulky blanket yarn and they have lasted for a number of years (3) . I have also use it for making many afghans.
Thank you so much I just sat here and watched your video and made a slipper so quick and I absolutely love it! Your voice is soothing and you made it so simple. ❤❤😊
♥️AWESOME Sirin♥️ I would make me a pair only make them taller to cover my ankle and about 6 more rows. I broke my ankle in 3 places and it was put back together with metal plates and screws. So I need that part of my leg to stay warmer. This slipper is PERFECT for that. Thank you❣
Its an easy explanation and pattern.thank you. I so much. I made a pair ...been a long time i want to make a sock .. And will make again with diffrent colours with this pattern..
Love your tutorials This sock is so far the simple yet nice and comfortable, Sirin. Easy to follow unlike some that I have tried…and also love the way you speak softly…that’s why ur cats love you…❤ from Philippines …
Sirin, thank you very much for the tutorial. I'm having a problem with my first three rows. The shape it has taken is that of a circle rather than a cup for the toes. Where have I gone wrong?
Yeah, I was having the same problem but then I saw in the written pattern that the first row you begin with 12, the second one you double it in each stitch to make it 24, and the third you keep it the same by making just one double crochet in each stitch (same 24). Hope that makes sense!
I made the slippers, they turned out great! Thank you so much for sharing your pattern. You do fantastic work. I did subscribed and am looking forward to watching more of your videos. Sending much love from Northern California.
Hi Serin it is was really easy and simple I always etch your crochetingitis her very easy this what I wanted iam crocheting for the charity and more over I like your voice thank you so much h and god bless you more .
IF YOU’RE CONFUSED ABOUT WHY IT’S LOOKING LIKE A CIRCLE I HAVE AN ANWSER!!! Look at the written instructions from their website if you still can’t figure it out In the video it skips when they do the 3rd row- follow the video for row one and two with two double crochets in each- IMPORTANT: When you get to the third row your only going to put one double crochet in each instead of two. This should make it curl into itself a little! I was very confused when mine looked like a very pretty circle.
Bingo. I havent come across a freebie tutorial/pattern that DID NOT contain errata and this is no exception. Its becauseit is too expensive hiring pattetn testers and tutorial editors. That being said, thank you fpr catchingthe mistake. Savesa lot of crocheters a migraine thinking it was something THEY wete doing wrong.
Just finished making this and this is the easiest sock tutorial I've ever tried and the only one I've successfully made. So easy to follow and instructions are very clear and the pattern can be adjusted easily. I was able to make a US size 9 by just adding a row or two in the middle.
@@Irisbaby1 Thank you, Eren! I was trying to look back as she was crocheting, but I was also folding clothes. I guess I'm not too good at multitasking when it comes to watching a video.
@@Michelle.05 😁 it's not your fault, I had the same question and I was watching without interruption! 🤗 It makes sense though to make one DC in the next 9, or else it would become a bag, I guess! 😬 😄😁 Sirin is very good at responding, she will be confirming. 😇
