I mean, are they not idiots?
Honestly though, I want to find the person responsible for passing this down to their kids. This kinda thing is multi-generational and absolutely blind to race and gender. It also appears to have no cares at all to where you are from or where you are. Indeed, stupid is as stupid does.
To the guy who claimed that is Tucson he needs to stop being a lying sack of shit. That is San Diego California not Tucson Arizona. He took a video of a area that looks similar and lied his ass off. That roach motel was on a cable show I saw decades ago and also on multiple Cops episodes I saw back in the 1990s. It looks similar because those hotels were owned and made by the same company but the Motel in Tucson does not have a second floor while the California one does.
@@Itsmy2cent i think he swirved because he got scare and i cant blam him
1:29 why did the guy swerve left to make the right
The fact that everyone in the video is like “ I finally caught an accident on daschcam ! “ is weird.
I still find it amazing that people are brave enough to submit a clip where they were clearly in the wrong. They should be using your videos in driver's education classes. Thanks for sharing.
This is what always goes through my head as well.
If I did something wrong and not doing that could prevent another accident, I would submit the clip.
It takes spine to admit errors. Gennadyi's wife is a good example of what can happen with even just a slight lapse of concentration.
Some of them believe they weren't the one that screwed up. And that last one said his wife was the driver, so it wasn't the driver posting it. Some actually are posted by the person who screwed up, though, and they do admit it.
never assume bravery where stupidity is a sufficient explanation.
0:45 the way he forced that idiot off the road, so satisfying
Then they came out the ditch not having learned their lesson. They still wanted to go slow 😐

I get that the gray car is an idiot, but you don’t play around when you have a truck, Imagine he caused an accident and then not only kill the person in the gray car but also the people around them.
Whether you think he was an idiot or not I think that very first clip could be considered attempted murdered. I mean you rammed him off the road. What if him hitting the ditch ended up being alot more fatal for the people in that van or worse he went into the oncoming lane and created a big car pile up killing who knows how many. The guy in the truck is one more idiot in the McDonald's drive thru area away from gunning down 20 people. I mean idiots are idiots but you can't kill people for being idiots.
@@genericwhitekidthesecond4330 You can't just convict people with attempted murder if you can't prove it was their intention to kill anyone. Aggravated assault maybe.
I love how people immediately declare bad drivers as being some sort of state-exclusive phenomenon. There are bad drivers absolutely everywhere.

4:50 is the kind of nightmare i have. the darkness, the blinding lights, the impact, and holy shit the sounds.
Those head lights are dangerously dim.
Very scary
@@ninjapythongaming5210 i own one of those cars, that's not an old light going out, that's genuinely just how dim they are, super sketch and I changed mine almost immediately
Yeah that is the stuff of nightmares. Literally my worst fear on the road especially at night.
What types of sounds? Moans?
5:40 is the exact reason whenever I see someone flying up behind me, I don’t change anything i’m doing. We can’t predict their next move so it’s best not to add a new variable to the situation.
It’s a fairly reasonable assumption to think, “oh they’re going faster than me and the passing lane is open- they’re going to pass me”. WHY did that guy swerve? egotistical I’m betting lol
He clearly swerved to try to stop him from passing him. He's an idiot that caused an accident for no reason at all.
Looks like they may have hit black ice. if you watch closely, the SUV kinda swerved/skidded a little and lingered in-between lanes, And the driver SHOULD have had plenty of time to slow down/stop yet slammed into the car anyway. Looks like he tried to go to the left of the car. The problem is, if it was in fact ice you CAN NOT break hard/fast
but yea the driver was still flying which he definitely shouldn't have been. He should have been going much slower which would have given him more time to slow down before getting close to the SUV.
@@sIenderrr no, but other drivers shouldn't intentionally cause accidents as punishment
@@Shcroft2 no, I think that was the correct move. one less risk factor on the road for a few days. the man did his highway a service. and the best part is he's most likely gonna get a new car, because he really didn't care what happened to the one he was driving
The clip at 4:52 scared the crap out of me. About four months ago me and my mom were in a similar crash. A woman just drove straight into us from behind a stop sign. My car got totaled. Luckily everyone were okay, just some bruises. Honestly the whole situation was just like in movies, that kinda surprised me. At first when I saw the car it was already too late. I just thought "oh this is a dream". As the car crashed into us I still believed I was dreaming, it was only when we hit the ditch nearby I realised it was actually happening. Scariest thing that's ever happened to me. You always think that shit like that would never happen to you but it can happen to anyone. Drive safe out there people.
I had a friend that was also in a crash like that except it didn't happen at night It happened during the day. Thank God no one was really injured. my friend just had a few bruises.
I was almost in a crash, like that. After pulling out of a parking lot, I was about ready to go ahead and go because there were no cars coming all the sudden. This car appears right beside me, nearly hitting me. I was able to swerve out of the way and avoid it. But I nearly hit the side rails.
Whoever is reading this, I wanted to say I hope you have a great day and that God loves you so much that He sent His son, Jesus, to die on a cross for your sins and He rose again from the dead three days later. God Bless!
And also, He doesn't want you to go to Hell, but He wants you to go to Heaven with Him but you have to be Saved. How do I get Saved you might ask? Here are the steps below on how to get Saved!
1. Believe that God sent His Son
(Jesus) to die on a cross for your sins and that He rose again from the dead 3 days later.
2. Confess to Jesus that you are a sinner and ask forgiveness for your sins and Turn away from your sins. If you sin again after asking forgiveness of that sin, ask forgiveness again and try not to do it ever again. Jesus will forgive you!
3. Ask Jesus to come into your heart and your life and for Him to be your Lord and Savior forever.
4. Build a Personal Relationship with Jesus by Praying and Reading the Bible daily and Live for Him Forever.
I'm Praying for you and you are loved
(Romans 10:9-13
it was daylight when something like this happened to me, but there was a school bus beside me, and they turned right onto another street, and a car turned left(going to the other side of traffic crossing in front of me) instantly when the bus started turning instead of waiting to actually be able to see. i had about 1 second of real time to react and it seriously did feel like a dream. both my baby’s were in the car, no one was hurt but jesus that shits terrifying
I got T-boned this summer by some hick running a red light and it really does feel like a dream. It’s the brains way of coping with trauma because believe it or not crashes are traumatic.
It really does feel unreal, like slow motion. It made me think about how in near death experiences, ppl say their whole life flashes before their eyes; you always assume it’s just a figure of speech but after experiencing the weird dream-time of a car accident or something similar it makes you realise ppl might legitimately be experiencing their whole lives and it’s not just a metaphor
1:56 what a human reaction by the two people walking. They both place their hands to their chest and are relieved they didn't just see a gnarly accident in front of them lol
Pretty sure the guy did a thumbs up😂
Interesting how the use of the horn has evolved over time. It was first introduced as a warning signal to alert other road users of your approach, particularly helpful when the other individual /driver was either facing or looking the other way. Today's horns seem to be used primarily as a way to express anger and frustration....or bleep out all the swear words.
Using my horn is always so far out of my awareness I can't remember the last time I've used it. Virtually always an event happens so quickly there's no time to use the horn because doing so is AT THE EXPENSE of your ability to maneuver the vehicle. You lose 50% of your control ability in order to use the horn, and that's agility you could/SHOULD be using to AVOID whatever situation you're in.
SO OFTEN I see these dashcam videos where someone could have EASILY avoided a crash by braking or turning or maneuvering, but instead they mash the horn and drive right into someone, often with SECONDS of non-reaction other than honking, and you always see some idiot commenting that "if it's not your fault you shouldn't swerve to avoid an accident, just hit them".
In Lebanon (and many other countries I'm sure) it's still use the first way
@@RobertMorgan Same here. I have been driving for 18 years and I don't recall honking anyone even once. If I see anyone pull out/stop in front of me, my instinct is to break/turn and to avoid an accident. Seems like lots of people do it the other way around. They'd rather honk to "assert their right" or "teach them a lesson" and plow into the other car doing that. I just don't get it.
I use the horn only for waking up people on the traffic lights when it’s a green light for 5 seconds and they are not moving. Usually texting someone. I just press horn for a split second, so it’s not an aggressive signal.
I use mine to greet people

Some of the accidents look totally avoidable to me as I am used to these sudden oncomings on my way and I feel I am very vigilant to these. (though I should not judge sitting on a couch)
I have heard driving in India is kind of wild compared to the USA. your country sounds very focused on defensive driving which is something many in the US lack so you're ahead of the game and can probably teach us a thing or two!
@@aubreymorgan9763 it's just that we consider all the objects surrounding the road as potential intruders and be ready to brake if they start moving towards the road. @@oliviaconti6064 Don't believe blinkers because of people like the cammer...
When i see blinkers i always wait to see if the are acually slowing down.

Yeah it made my blood boil, what a dumbass thinking he can control traffic.
More like "I'm sorry buddy, I was speeding so fast that there was no way for me to avoid you. It was completely irresponsible of me to try to pass you at such a high rate of speed."
It wasnt the 1st guys excuse for lane straddling, he was telling the cammer "You shouldn't have tried to pass me". Theres a ton of people out there that think "Oh, this guys coming up behind me at a high speed, he's obviously breaking the law. I need to stop him" and usually end up causing accidents. 5:39 Who is at fault? The dashcam driver is clearly speeding, but the driver in front did not use a blinker to shift lanes. They both had the right of way.
The dashcam driver is at fault provided this is America or the UK. The laws in other countries vary slightly but in those two countries, if you rear-end another vehicle you are at fault for all the damages, even if you got rear-ended to cause the rear-end.
i mean as everyone else has said, the guy with the camera is going way too fast.. but the person he rear ended also shouldn't have suddenly moved to the left without signaling. It could go either way but I imagine the one speeding was found at fault simply because he was clearly driving above the speed limit and created an unsafe situation.
@@PerpetuusTenebris I mean, I don't doubt this is true in a lot of cases, but do you have a source that demonstrates it always the case? Because it seems rather illogical to operate that way, IMO of course.
Guy in front was 100% at fault, he did it on purpose you can see his brake lights come on before he swerves. He wanted to bully someone into slowing down but got more than he bargained for. Even if the guy was speeding, which we don't actually know, he could have been in an emergency or an undercover cop car. The SUV driver has none of this information, he just did it to try and feel like a big man.
@@PerpetuusTenebris that is completely false. I rear ended someone and I was found to be at no fault. My vehicle and medical was paid by their insurance.

8:38 this is an illegal merge. When making a turn at a multi turn lane intersection you have to stay in your lane until you have made the turn then once you are straight you can use your turn signal to merge lanes.
True, but I don’t think that was relevant in that incident

That was definitely to teach cammer a lesson on speeding, since in most parts of the world if you rear-end someone it's ALWAYS your fault.

At some point in time someone has to realize that the majority of the drivers in the US are not smart enough to navigate a double turn lane successfully and shouldn't be used anymore.
An they just think they are smart enough that they won’t be hold accountable which no does hold them accountable for it
we have a lot of roundabouts in my country and im happy that way. they're much safer. its not that crossings are unnecessarily complicated tbh, although they might require a bit more attention. every little thing counts to prevent accidents

3:00 tell me that suv didn't go to the farthest lane right before using their blinker to go into the left lane again
A person did that once lucky the truck slow down to not hit them if the truck and other driver got into the accident I would’ve been a witness for the truck driver because my dashcam was recording whole thing.
5:42 when was mr camera man planning on passing? He waited till the last second to get in the other lane and had zero time to react. The guy who swerved didn’t respond correctly but I can’t fault him for likely being terrified at the sudden overtaking. Seriously this wreck happens way too fast, just goes to show how the camera man was the one being negligent
I agree, it would defintely be uncomfortably close, but I trust that the cameraman driver was definitely going to switch lanes just in time. I understand but am disappointed in the other driver, yes itd be spooky for someone to be hualing ass like that but you HAVE to trust the drive to switch lanes in oder to minimize chances of accidents. Both at fault, i personally think the driver ahead had more fault than the speeder though.
The Black SUV was found to be completely at fault. The cammer didn't 'wait till the last second', he moved to the open lane way before and then was forced to respond when the SUV swerved back and forth. What do you mean ''terrified'? Do you start swerving when an ambulance passes you at speed? You don't even know if he was over the speed limit or in an emergency, imagine trying to defend the fool swerving like that 🙄
@@Hankblue An ambulance doesn't pass me at speed because I pull over like the law says to. An Emergency does not mean you can speed either, you dial 911 if there is an emergency that cannot wait. A lady tried to use that defense in court because her kid was unconscious, the judge asked did you dial 911 and when she said no the charges were upheld.
Here that would be called an unsafe lane change or reckless driving. If you pause the video before the guy swerves he has just started his lane change about 2 and half car lengths away, while going almost double the speed. Even if he finished the lane change at that point and the guy didn't swerve he would have just barely missed the guys bumper. You also don't do quick lane changes at high speed when there is snow on the ground.
@@Azsunes That makes no sense, if you pull over the ambulance will pass you at speed. In fact the speed difference between your vehicles will increase if you stop on the highway. If you suddenly become 'terrified' and swerve all over the road when a vehicle comes up behind you at speed, you're not a functional member of society. (This guy wasn't terrified btw, he just wanted to bully someone into not overtaking him so he slammed on brakes and started swerving between lanes).
Actually an emergency does mean you can speed, in the same way that a deadly threat means you can use lethal force. The authorities still need to verify your story, but 9 times out of 10 if you can show a reasonable basis for speeding you won't be penalised. Not that any of this matters for this case, because we cannot verify that he was over the speed limit, and the person in the black SUV is not a walking odometer. I don't know why you're mentioning 911, the black SUV had 0 information about whether that person had called or was on the line with 911. He doesn't know whether there was a car shooting at the camera from behind, he doesn't know if it was an undercover cop. He just felt like playing a stupid game to feel like a big man, and that's why he won't get a cent from his insurance.
@@Hankblue I was stating the law that you do not maintain speed for an Ambulance, you pull over and come to a complete stop if it is safe to do so.
I also did not say the driver called 911, you said it was ok to speed if it is an Emergency. There have been many court rulings that have an emergency is no reason to speed, if it is life threatening call 911.
6:43 was like a ninja smoke bomb lol
I like watching these videos so I’ll learn what to do when this kinda stuff happens and how to avoid it
5:51 what he said doesn’t matter. What you SHOULD have been doing is paying attention. You had plenty of time to stop even if he hit his brakes for no good reason. It’s why legal follow distances are set as they are.
Bro was at least 30 too 45 above the speed limit and in snow conditions it’s most recommended to go a bit slower then what u usually go
him needing to hit the breaks isnt the problem he was literally driving in the middle of the fucking road
@@presley-dj8nv so, you don’t think that if the person following was moving slower and paying attention they may have avoided the crash? That’s generally how I do it. I just …. Don’t aggressively drive into the rear of a car in front of me. It’s that easy!
Bad weather conditions increase stopping distance.
Other drivers driving poorly can be a real problem.
You have to adjust your own driving. Or, you can enjoy spending time in a hospital and having to get a new car. I think option A saves more time.
@@Lenny3x You don't know the actual speed as the only frame of reference is the driver in front who slammed on the brakes +5 seconds before impact.
So the car in front both changed lanes (more like swerved back and forth) with no signal and slammed on the brakes while doing so in order to ensure the cammer had nowhere to go.
The driver in front not only slammed on their brakes but they also swerved back in forth through the lanes to ensure they were hit. There are no "legal follow distances" on the books only the 2-3 second rule that people tend to follow. Considering the car in front slammed on their brakes and started swerving to ensure impact 5 seconds before the accident....
The first guy literally cut the truck off and then tried to play victim. Amazing.
