  • In this chapter, we look at the life of Abraham and ponder on his growth in his faith in God. He went from partial obedience and had to learn how to become fully obedient to God's guidance. It was then that he received the blessing and promise from God, for a son. We need to learn how to fully surrender our plans for money, the future, our careers, so that we will be able to walk with God into His good plans He has for us.
Do you find it hard to surrender? I hope this video of Abraham's life and faith encourages you to surrender and trust God with whatever plans you have for your daily expenses, 401k, your job, etc. I don't know what God might be calling you to do specifically, but I encourage you to trust Him, surrender YOUR plans in order to find out HIS plans and promises for you! God fulfills His promises!

    Proverbs 3:34
He mocks the mockers, but gives grace to the humble.

But He gives us more grace. This is why it says: “ God opposes the proud, but gives grace to the humble.”
