The user is experiencing issues with rendering while attempting to create a 4k render. The rendering process is completed unusually quickly and displays the finished result in black. nothing is visible

when I was working on max 2016 I was able to control the rendering time by increasing and drecreasing the noise threshold value but now in vray 6 max 2023 I am not able to decrease the other noise values and also while doing small render , the render time is very high.
In vray frame buffer, I keep 50% rendering setting but still time of rendering is high. Please help me how to control rendering time.

Hello Sanjay! Yes, you can control the noise level from the Render settings. Still, to optimize the render time there are different approaches - complex geometries should be proxies, also you can decrease the Max subdivs in the Render settings and decrease the Subdivs for the light cache in the Global Illumination tab. I don't know what your hardware specs are, but if this doesn't work, maybe you will need to optimize your scenes further (textures, proxies, instances, viewport preview) . You can also check the Ram usage in the Task manager.
Hope this suggestions work for you!

Hi Maa and welcome :) Actually I am currently preparing post production video that is slightly more advanced, but I don't think that the postproduction workflow I will show has been ever discussed on UA-cam, so it will be something new and interesting.
