I grew up wishing I had had a real Tamagotchi, but years later, I realised that the Dinkie pets were way better. They had more buttons and more functions. Also, it was cuter to have a real animal than a weird alien thing. So sad they aren't manufactured anymore.
When I was a kid I would alternate the genders, so he would be a Deeno, then next time she was a Deenette (i always called them the same names XD). Also, what do you have to do for them to become the bat/devil thing? Is that if they die unhappy?

I removed the batteries few years ago. Now that I want to reactivate it, doesn't turn on with the new batteries. Do you know what could be?

IDK if you're still looking, but there's quite a few of these on ebay! I've seen some for as low as $20.
