the amount of gems in this is insane and i’m only 50 minutes in, the creative playground and freedom this gives is crazy. i already knew about chord progressions and such but this gave me a whole other level of perspective. so thank you 🙏🏽

you made this soo easy to learn without being snobby to us people that never learns keys or music theory, i really really appreciate this video and am forever a fan!
Thanks for the knowledge drop, you are highlighting the essentials and refreshing the basics, this is gold content for anybody experimenting with beats. 🔥👊
Also - agree with your point on FLS being the best 'canvas'. I like Ableton, but I still roll back to FLS most of the time. I use a NI S61 MKII, but I just wish they would update their Maschine software to be a more complete DAW as it has huge potential. Until then its FLS and Ableton. Reaper too when I have the patience.
Thank You for your time. but@38:00 * an 11th for Harmonic minor chord is actually 0-3-7-10-14-17* the 11th is the 17 opposed to the 21 code you've mention. 21 will be the extended 13th chord.
i know you dont know me and probably will never see this but i truly appreciate all you assist me with you make so easy to understand and truly are changing lives mine for sure
Man Game you make beat-making so much fun man. I love when you drop little facts like “this daw isn’t made for our type of music” 🤯 “I’ve heard hit songs made with *FL KEYS*”🤯
I downloaded FL because I enjoy music and also hear note/create tunes in my mind producing is an all together challenging and complex effort. But, when I walk away from what I did then come back to it I naturally get it right and become confused, lol!
Fun Fact to the Melody is rhythm thing: Polyrhythms played super fast so that the seperate drum hits make an extratone, result in Chords and according to the relation of the rhythms can have harmonies
Thank you so much, amounts of technics, tips! You are definitely so talented, professional and nice person. I finished this master class studying it the whole week/ Serum and Omnisphere are outsourse plagins? I see they are very important
Hey man this is the first time iv seen any of your videos but this video came up at the right time. Everything you taught me was so helpful. I just purchased the most advanced version of Fruity loops and I'm just learning how to use it. Your a great instructor keep it up. -Jason Ryan
yo busy i know you love to produce and know way more than i do. i like tuning knobs and lmms is full of them you should challenge yourself on trying to make a hit beat on lmms. you can still use all your sounds and vsts in lmms watch a few videos on how to make a beat its not that hard once you get a feel for it i just am impressed on how deep mixing and mastering can be.
Very usefull and I really enjoyed watching your tutorial. I have few questions about FL Studio and which styles of music fit in. Does Congolese Rhumba can be one of them?
@busyworksbeats I got the akai mpk249 and it came with ableton live lite I also purchased the xpand vst like you mentioned and I’m having trouble figuring out what sounds I should be using I’m into hip hop/trap and boom bap…I could definitely use a little guidance
Not gonna lie the only thing is your sample game in the playlist. I just drag the tempo up or down until it match the grid and tempo. Then I'll use the timer to snap it to grid perfectly and turn on Auto on the sampler keeping the same note. I can now change the tempo without changing the sound and tempo of the sample.
Hey bro, 'm new here, and i'm halfway through your live, and I appreciate your teaching method. I may have to circle back a few times, because I still don't get it too well. Is this how people feel like when it comes to math or computer stuff? I have always wanted to create, I feel like I can hear and imagine things but I don't have the skill to make them come to life. one day...
Every time the chord goes up it creates happiness...
