@@himavarshitha1162 I have cousins, but they have their own real siblings. Fuck, it hurts to see the difference between the relationship of you and cousin, and cousin and their sibling. Jealousy, lol.
It's not only fighting physically even in verbal fights people who grew up with siblings have so much practice and the insults they come up with are so creative.

Im not a single child, my siblings got married and they are at their home. I don't have any friends near my home. My cousins are 9-28 year older than me and everyone is busy with thier life. My parents don't let me go out alone or with friends and they are busy with their work. Im alone here 24×7. And its vacation time here. Because of the loneliness I'm facing i shout to my parents for no reason. Im feeling depressed or something like that 🙂!
My siblings are 10 years older than me. They got married when i was 11. And now I'm 15.
I don't have anyone to share my emotion(No one is ready to hear me). It's super hard when my siblings, parents and aunts says I'm mental 🙂

Yarrrr litterly the same situation but my siblings aren't married but still I can't share my emotions to anyone idk why I think nobody will understand........maybe bcozz of bottling up emotions i also shout on my parents i feel so guilty afterwards....🙃

Your words show hidden pain. Does being a single child make one feel lonely in the life. Becoz i have a single child
Not at all, it has many benefits too, and on the whole I loved it:)
As an adult (who grew up as an only child) and today am the mother of an only child now, let me reassure you, only child syndrome has been debunked years ago, only children are no different from children with siblings, but infact in many cases only children have a significant advantage over children who grew up with siblings,
Only children are well adjusted and kind (not selfish, because they don't have to fight for resources), social (because they maintain better friendships due to not having similar age group at home), have leadership qualities (again due to being born in a house with no comparison and having parental attention on development of single child)
As a parent of single child the only thing different you have to do is let the child socialize with cousins and friends,
Also take special care of their safety because single children might be a bit more vulnerable to abuse (not being in a crowded household)
You also have to spend quality time with them and have open communication channels so your child is comfortable enough to talk to you about everything (be more of an elder friend than parent at times)
My personal experience growing up was very nice, I was privileged to have the undivided love and attention of my parents, did well in my studies, became a successful working professional, well adjusted with my extended family, cousins etc..
Have life long friends (who have become my family)
The only negative was aging parents and dealing with parents terminal illness and subsequent death...having no siblings I was the last of my parents nuclear family...
(Although I have my very supportive spouse and child) dealing with parents old age as an only child takes a toll emotionally.
