"Lord I can place Utred in water a thousand times and he will not find God, only fish" 😅 Father Beocca was such a character, his death was just an unpleasant surprise 💔
I am a priest myself and I strive to be as mighty, wise, righteous and kind as Fr Beocca. Even though he is a fictional character he is an example to all Christians.
Uhtred stayed hungry to take back Bebbanburg throughout all he sacrificed fighting for king Alfred but almost gave up entirely after losing Father Beocca. My favorite character from the show by far
The way i see it, only two people filled the role of being uhtred's father: father beocca and ragnar the fearless. For his biológical father only needed him but didnt love him.
That hits like a train.. Beocca was the father Uhtred needed to be the man he is today. Alfreds right hand man. The essence of what kept them from tearing each other apart.
God damn this made me cry... I remember watching season 4 and I had to stop after his death just to process it. He was like Uhtred's anchor and the only one who knew him from the beginning. His character was so impactful on the entire show, and I love this video. It really honored him and his story like he deserves.
Beocca "Uhtred? What a joy to see you here!" Uhtred "Yes! And for me to see you hairless head" 😂 Loved these characters!! I so wished Beocca had survived to see Uhtred retake Bebbenburg!! Great video 🥺
I have to say that this Series left me speechless.... Uhtred and Beocca " Father & Son " in every sense of the words...Beocca was his father in every way a father could be, that's why Uhtred felt his death the most because Uhtred say it..when he lost Beocca he lost his home and that killrd me like no ther show has done...What a great show and story telling...Beautiful indeed.
every beocca scene had potential to bring tears to the eyes he was the REALEST character ever conceived in the Cornwell universe, and like Finan & Co. I may have struggled to keep watching to the last season - though I can't say for sure that would've been a problem in hindsight. A solid concept to the last
"Beocca had been reproving me for years. When I was a child, Beocca was my father’s priest and confessor and, like me, he had fled Northumbria when my uncle had usurped Bebbanburg. Beocca had found a refuge at Alfred’s court where his piety, his learning, and his enthusiasm were appreciated by the king. That royal favor went a long way to stop men mocking Beocca, who was, in all truth, as ugly a man as you could have found in all Wessex. He had a club foot, a squint, and a palsied left hand. He was blind in his wandering eye that had gone as white as his hair, for he was now nearly fifty years old. Children jeered at him in the streets and some folk made the sign of the cross, believing that ugliness was a mark of the devil, but he was as good a Christian as any I have ever known." - Uhtred in 'Sword Song' by Bernard Cornwell
Wow!! What a brilliant and beautiful video paying homage to one of my favorite characters of “The Last Kingdom”. Thank you for creating this video and sharing it with all of us.
You can see the loyalty difference between utherd and his men and uthred towards the king simply because uhtred ask of nothing of his men that he wouldn’t do with them than the kings would of ask of him and not do as well
The feeling I get from the show is that Beocca has basically raised Uhtred and Alfred and loves them as his sons and all he wants is for them to grow to love one another as much as he loves them, but they just never do.
Beocca WAS Uhtreds father just not biologically, that's when they said goodbye when Uhtred was going to reclaim his home he called him father and meant it, you could see it in their eyes 😢. Then when Beocca got killed that destroyed a piece of Uhtreds heart 💔. Father and Son 💞.
[SPOILERS] His death was so predictable. The Showrunners should have written something more beautiful for such a character like Beocca. He was so important in the life of the protagonist, and in the end just died in a stupid suicide plan.
Father Beocca was Uthred's true father, always there to support and scold.
I think so
There's a moment in season 4 where Uhtred calls him "Father". ❤
@@revengetragedy He calls him that often but yeah there is that moment...
@@revengetragedythank you... Father...
Not in the books ..he pops up but not as much as in the tv series …Ragnar is his father in the books
Wow I didn't realize how much of the story unfolds around Beocca he's quite literally the heart of the entire story
He’s the main reason Alfred and Uthred weren’t killing each other
People let that go over their head he's the first person raising the main character till his dying breath always on his side . ALWAYS
"Lord I can place Utred in water a thousand times and he will not find God, only fish" 😅

This was uhtreds worst loss in my view because he lost someone who was more of a father figure than we had anticipated
And he was also uhtred centre from going to mad or too soft
Uhtred stayed hungry to take back Bebbanburg throughout all he sacrificed fighting for king Alfred but almost gave up entirely after losing Father Beocca. My favorite character from the show by far
3:11 the smile on Alfred's face was so subtle but a welcome glimpse of his humorous side.
This was heartbreakingly beautiful. Beocca was such an integral part of the show - it won’t be the same without him.
"Perhaps"
"Always"
two words were maybe his best lines. Easily in my top 5 all time favorite characters.
The way i see it, only two people filled the role of being uhtred's father: father beocca and ragnar the fearless.

Wish I had someone in my life like this man
When Beocca died that was when Uhtred was at his lowest, Beocca was the one thing constant in his life always there for him until the very end
Not all good stories have a happy ending.. Beautiful characters, amazing series, and such a sad ending to them both..
Beocca "Uhtred? What a joy to see you here!"
Uhtred "Yes! And for me to see you hairless head" 😂

Such a beautiful bound, it was truly heartbreaking when he died...
My heart broke when Father Beocca was killed.

This video is underrated you covered so much between beocca and Uthred
we love you Father Beocca
I’m not crying. You’re crying. 😭 thank you for this beautiful video. I Totally got the feels 😢. #TheLastKingdom is the best show
He is proud, and never let another soul say he isn’t! He is proud and now he stands with you my brother.
Amazing friendship, with a true meaning and greater sense of purpose. I miss seeing them together already.
“Past years” hit hard
Wow!! What a brilliant and beautiful video paying homage to one of my favorite characters of “The Last Kingdom”. Thank you for creating this video and sharing it with all of us.
They were all BONDED! Respect! A great editing job.
Beautiful video but that reopened a wound... I'm still not over it ;__;
This is so beautiful 😭 it broke my heart in series four 💔
Lovely video! I just recently caught up on this show and this video gave me the feels. What a beautiful tribute to one of the best characters!
Wow simply outstanding! 😢
Thank you so much for this video it was touching
I really miss beocca,Ragnar, leowfic and Alfred
Brilliant and very emotional
I have to skip over his death scene because it hurts so much. Uhtreds true father ❤️
I love him I was so sad when he died and. Left the show.
Everyone needs a father Beocca in their lives
Poor uhtred he just loses so much, even alfred.
Rip father Beocca
I never realized he once had Voldemort on the back of his head
Professor Quirrell did get rid of his turban i see.
NGL, father beocca is a real man. A father, a friend, a brother.
You can see the loyalty difference between utherd and his men and uthred towards the king simply because uhtred ask of nothing of his men that he wouldn’t do with them than the kings would of ask of him and not do as well
Totally agree! Anything he ast if his men, he'd happily do with them! I think the Kings ast Uhtred to do things because they couldn't & wouldn't
Brilliant video! Well put together :)
I say Father Beocca is his soul and Finna is his heart
Beautifully done 😥❤
The feeling I get from the show is that Beocca has basically raised Uhtred and Alfred and loves them as his sons and all he wants is for them to grow to love one another as much as he loves them, but they just never do.
This is beautiful
Season 1 Uhtred: He is not my lord, and he won’t be my king.
Season 3 Uhtred: He was my king!
Character development.
Father Becca died saving utherd son of utherd. He was not just a father but also a brother
Beautiful. Yeah I cried 😭.
SADLY FATHER BEOCCA GOT KILLED OFF 😢 I CRIED MY EYES OUT HE WAS UTREDS FATHER AND FRIEND ❤❤
Beocca was a spiritual father of Uthred, he cried the moment the killed and he got excited when he see him if he was away for a while 😢
It's sad that Father Beocca died not seeing Uhtred finally had the taken his home bebbanburgh
Es un gran actor
Dang it. I'm in tears now.
God bless this man tbh 👑
I love father Beocca
Me too
3:07 i liked this scene. Beocca told the guy to basically F*%# his mother. that showed a side of beocca that was no doubt influenced by Uhtred 😁
He died at home where he lived but it was no more his home he cared for 😢
Fuck man this shit made me tear up
😢😢😢❤️🙏❤️🙏
Father Berocca. He helps you poop.
Me dio lastima su muerte y hasta lo llore
Anch’io🤦♀️😢😢😢
I cried like a baby I love him. What they did to Tura was horrifying. Tidman looked like a serial killer
😢😢
I wanted to see them both in bebbenburgh together ❤.
