Aerosmith is one of those bands that sounds better live, that's the talent! You can sing or you cannot. Steven is a true performer, he gives everything, he's a legend, no one can sing live like Steven, such a wide range of vocals.
Man, I'm 31 years old and I first watched this concert on MTV when I was 10. I got totally blown away and I still go crazy when I hear the way they kicked ass the whole show. There's something in the sound, the attitude, the way they hit hard and go totally rock n roll. Just can't say anything else. I love this. It makes me happy. They brought beautiful colors and emotions into my life. LONG LIVE AEROSMITH!
Ya’ should’ve seen them in the 1970’s when they played exactly how they wanted to and didn’t care about playing any of the hits they never needed to do to be headlining California or Texas Jams and they were hated by most musicians who envied the way Tyler just had every single person in his grip. I seen them in the Blizzard Of 1978 when they played the Gardens in my hometown and Golden Earrings opened up for the show ( ask your parents), but I will never forget that Psycho theme track they’d use as the curtain raised and I saw Steven leaning down hearing the beginning of the first song off of the Rocks release playing in the background only to hear “ I’m Ba-a-AA-c-ckkk!!” I’m back in the saddle again!! Yup 👍 and I was just a 12 year old kid who would owe his career to the boys from my own music til this very day after starting out in my teens. 40+ years ago. Look to the audience, the ocean of waving hands just feeling and enjoying the performance without cell phones, no one is busy recording the show, they just enjoy the performances. So different!
