This Video was made before their game against the Bucks tonight, so it was not factored in whatever happens in it. Hope you guys like it!!… Also lowkey totally overlooked his 6 foot 7 wingspan, that definitely bodes well for his defensive upside
Sasser is a rookie. He does not know, nor has he played against all the other players in the league. He will be better next year. I think he's good enough now...like all the other good rookies in the league.
Yeah i think maybe undersized was the wrong word, i was more just trying to highlight how the NBA seems to be trending towards bigger guards. And also, totally my fault, but I completely overlooked his 6 ft 7 wingspan which should be huge for his defensive upside
Watch a UA-cam Short on Marcus Sasser's work out outside on a track and in the gym. He can sustain it. His minutes have come when the team was behind. He's been mostly ignored on the court when wide open by his teamates. Give him the keys and watch him mature into an All Star. His perimeter defense is elite. What people like you are saying is cap due to his height. Same height as Isiah Thomas. #GoPistons
Yeah i think I definitely didn’t give his defensive upside the justice it deserves the more I’ve learned about him. I wouldn’t say it’s elite though personally
I think Sasser can be better on D. He tries hard, picks some pockets, and has decent length. Definitely enough that he won't be a total liability and can be matched up well on smaller PGs.
Yeah, i agree with that, i just worry that with the way the league is trending there won’t be thattt many smaller guards. But i could always be totally wrong lol and maybe he could become a solid defender, that would be dope!
@@quintupleovertimehe reminds me of tyrese maxey just the way he shoots and dribbles I could see him having a similar role to that in his prime if all goes well with his development
Go Marcus. Go Coogs!!!🐾🐾🐾
Marcus Sasser!!! ⛽️
Plays like maxey

Welp, you were about half right.

NBA fantasy legend Marcus sasser
6'2 is not undersize for PG. Please don't push that narrative. Sasser is a beast. Hopefully he continues to develop

@@quintupleovertime yea... it's definitely a plus when you can get a PG who is 6'4+ and he is actually good.
6'2" is very generous when they talk about Sasser he might be that with shoes on
UPDATE: Sasser WENT OFF against the Bucks, He was their best player tonight!

Detroit representtttt 🙌🏻🙌🏻
Not true he is in the top 10 in the rookie latter
Sassor him him total package perfect fit next to cade
Yeah he looks great out there
Hard to judge Pistons individual defense because their team defense is so bad. Especially right now.
Yeah very true
Nobody's talking about Sasser because he's a bench player on the worst team in the league.
Better comparison is veteran Lou Williams!
