the author of windbreaker is a fan of tokyorev, he even has art on his twt of mikey, sugishita (the last guy with long hair who appeared) was inspired by baji himself, there is no confirmation but watching the anime/manga the author puts some phrases/actions that seem to be from other animes xD

lol his name is Arajin but close enough Aaand as someone who’s watched both shows, Takemichi is definitely more frustrating to watch since he can’t fight but he’s deffo a better person - so I’d say Bucchigiri takes the cake as to having the more worst MC (even though I like both of them) Arajin is just kinda annoying whereas Takemichi at least tries 👍👍
