You guys did a great job demonstrating these devices....it's so much more informative to see you handle these devices compared to watching an able-bodied person do it. I've learnt so much from this video. Thank you!

I am a quadriplegic (20 years) with no hand function. After years of unsuccessfully looking, I finally made my own adaptive steak knife. It works perfectly (for me) and is SO easy to make. The total cost is a quality knife plus less than $20 in additional material. Made it myself in less than 10 minutes with NO tools. I am willing to share (free) with anyone on what you need and how to make it. Also found a heavy duty chopping / meal prep knife with platform and pivot lever (no hand function required). As with all knives use at your own risk.

Putting the cutting boards on top of Dycem or another sticky silicone product (same as was wrapped around the rocker knife) will make this safer.
I bought a Slice n Fun cutting board from Amazon that has those spikes, and it also has 2 claws that will hold things in place. It has suction cups to hold it still on the counter. An added bonus I discovered is that I can stick it to the sink and clamp my scrub brush in to help with dish washing! It comes with a wavy cutting g tool that allows you to chop or slice with one hand. Similar in theory to the one-handed rocker knife, but without the back and forth. Just cut straight down. I got it for my husband, who has left-hand weakness due to strike, but then I ended up with amputated fingers! 🤟🤦‍♂️ He didn't want to use it, but I love it!

I would love to know where to find a knife brace like 2:52 - does anybody know who makes them?
