This is a jam packed episode as we really worked through getting the head off and doing it safely.
Lots of work ahead of us but I believe we are going to get this right....eventually.

eish
when your brother said, the head was skeemed and that was not suppose to be done, I got worried.
loving the series bro
Thanks bro, appreciate the feedback.
Yip, theres so much up in the air at the moment but dont worry, I've got some things lined up😉
Its awesome to have a brother that can help you like this. 👍 up to your brother! Well done bud. Think you should do V12 😂
i wondered why the cams were the wrong way its a bloody n47 lmao
When he held the head up around 9-10min mark, top left corner is the safety indicator for maximum skimming. Check the head and block using straight edge and feeler gauge.
Hey bud. I actually bought a feeler gauge sometime back...need to find it and inspect the head.
@@mdworkshop3919 those feeler gauges always goes missing. Haha
@dailydrivenjeeps if I cant find mine, I quickly take a drive to PTA to come borrow yours and quickly check in on the progress with the jeep 😉
@@mdworkshop3919 i messed up a bit. You will see in Thursdays video. Lol. Also in need of a propshaft now. Struggling to find one that is affordable
That sounds expensive bru 😬...did you manage to come right with the immobilizer?
Good work guys. Fit the 330d motor!
@gary please dont give me ideas that's going to make noise in my head 😛
who's been using this car, unbelieveable oil condition, or was it really oil in it. never seen anything bad like that
Yip...also couldnt believe what the condition of the oil was in. You question about the oil is very valid, or perhaps the shop that did the initial head job didnt use proper oil...that is why my brother and I are now doing everything or at least as much as what we can. I will be uploading another video soon, as I found the reason for everything that has happened...spoiler alert...I need to fit another engine 😭
How did u release the timing chain tensioner?
Great vids , how come your bro said the head should never be skimmed? Not heard this before
Howzit bud? I think he was referring to the fact that because its a diesel, everything is specced right to the minimum from the factory...however, I do think he might be wrong in this regard as there is a level indicator on the head. thanks again for the support bru.
@@mdworkshop3919 thanks for the reply bro , appreciate it
Greetings friend, Were you using green coolant on this engine?
Hi Rav225. Yes the colour of the coolant was green bud.
@@mdworkshop3919 ahh ok, make sure you are giving the right specs for your cooling system, I have the same exact engine and it takes blue coolant, when going to the shop ask for it 50/50 premix should do and make sure to flush out the green stuff from the entire system as they can cause corrosion and tons of other problems when mixing together ,anyway this is not the first time doing a head gasket but on this particular engine your video helped me a lot in this 2 part video, so I help you any way I can
@@KapitluTlettax ... hey bud, thanks for the heads up and I'm glad to hear my video helped in some way. I will be removing the engine shortly and fitting a new/second hand engine as this engine is completely shot.
Where can I find you
