They are such majestic creatures, horses always catch my attention and take my breath away. 💖 and it's great to see these very intelligent, sensitive stallions so well looked after, with their silky shimmering healthy coats and calm demeanour. Terrific. 👍🌿
What beautiful stallions, so quiet and well behaved! What super care and affection they get, what a great video! Never saw such huge, clean stalls in my lifetime around horses. Kudos to Banstead Manor Stud, you are fantastic.
@Nufc Magpies 123 Of of course, race horses, mares and stallions are sooo expensive. They have to be in the best of health and that costs money. Without special care they wouldn't be successful. Thanks for the nice response.
From the way he stayed in the champions stakes on soft ground and the way his started his stallion duties i think there is no doubt he would have stayed if he had to chance to go over 1m4f he is the best horse ever closely followed by sea the stars
@@craigpope8580 a lot of his progeny have done very well over middle distance and hurricane lane won st leger i think frankel would of been outstanding over a mile and a half.
At 11:12, that dark bay mare with the blaze is Ventura (USA, 2004 dk b/br mare, by Chester House o/o Estala [Be My Guest])! I'm so sad that you didn't talk about her. She was one of my favorites on the track and it's so, so good to just see her. Is there a chance that ATR might go back to Banstead Manor to visit with her? Looks like she was either barren or miscarried for 2019, but produced a filly foal by Kingman in 2020.
For anyone to criticise any thing about Henry,s star, is a fool, or he is full with jealousy, or both. The greatest gentleman owner ever His Highness Prince Khalid Abdullah ,The best trainer ever (with Vincent O,brien) knew what he was and is. Plus these two greats did not have to put 4,5,6, horses in one race. They relied on their judgement of horses, not in numbers. your the best Frankel, and at the end of your stallion days, I think your progeny, will be even greater than the great Galileo. C.B-W. UK.
Why does Banstead Manor Stud use all these leg protection boots for their stallions? Grooms just walk them in hands, so why put on these boots? Anyone knows?
Frankel is the greatest racehorse we've ever seen he would of been great at 12f unfortunately he was 2 strong headed to be trained for the derby. I can't believe the spokesman called his father Dubawi its the Superspunk GALILEO the greatest sire ever
He was talking about Frankel's first crop success and how it was better than some other prominent sires. He said "Better than his father (Galileo), Dubawi, and the great stallions." It sounds like he said Dubawi was his sire but it's not what he meant.
good horse Frankel and making it pay at stud, I sometimes ponder at the business end of the racing game, its all about the money now, statistics and stud fees, we will no longer see the best milers head to head beyond a few wins in one or two seasons as the money is in the stud fees, Frankel could have raced on for five or six more years but the big bucks in the stud fees, the men like Vincent O Brien are no longer about so the big race clashes are a thing of the past, its all about a few group 1 wins and retire to stud, they all do it so we cannot reinvent the sector today, my only concern is the tight breeding lines as practiced in today,s top flight racers, while they are all winning races they don,t stay on the scene as long as the greats of past days , win a million retire to stud to make another few million fast, that is the game today, pity as we would like to see the best sprinters really go head to head over a longer career on the grass, but the powers that be have little interest in that it appears, for me I would like to see a real race horse run into his later years 6/7 maybe or more to see what the full package is, that would separate the men from the boys I reckon, still a great horse Frankel as was his sire Galileo was but I also focus on the dam as much as I do the stallion , that is where the real blood lines impact in my view, shame the dam does not get the attention of the sire but again this is the mystery of breeding as Jim Bolger tells it , its a science combined with luck and he should know

Top Stud with great Stallions and breeding & Great Report
Have done loads for UK racing.
Warning my favorite racehorse.
Frankel at $250k a pop.
Simply marvellous.....
excellent piece, very pleased with sky sports racing
Classic winners starting to come now.
I will always wonder how Frankel would have done over a mile and a half we will never know

Rule asks some informative questions - nice one.

He is in-bred to Northern Dancer.
Question, he was obviously very good....how his earnings were so low compared to other horses?
I thought Frankel's dad was Galileo not Dubawi. Does Rob Bowley actually know what horse he actually breeds.
I wish my job title was “Stallion Man”

Its to protect their legs when they are mating it can get a little heated with a frosty made.
For protection stallions can get very angry and their legs are very fragile just keeps them a lot safer it actually makes sense to do it
Very lucky his father was a great Irish stallion Galileo

Breed of these horse??
I prefer kingsman than Frankel ,cos of James Doyle
@Nufc Magpies 123 lol doyle ain't shit but Frankel the best ever kinsgman was a freak in his own right though
I thought Frankel was by Galileo not Dubawi
Frankel is by galileo not dubawi
It sounds like it but he actually said "Better than his father(Galileo), Dubawi"
He is by Galileo.
i think he was thinking and while talking and make a mistake lol
3min 16 seconds terrible error - his father was galileo not dubawi!!!!!
He didn't say that Dubawi was his sire,
he said his father (meaning Galileo), Dubawi.
Yep. 🙄💥
I've been to see him at stud he looks better up close
Yes a good horse but he couldn’t get the derby distance, the top money is with the derby distance winners, a true miler
