Promoting awareness about orcas is essential for future generations. Orca's magnificent creatures face threats such as habitat loss and climate change. By spreading knowledge about orcas, their role in ecosystems, and the challenges they endure, we contribute to fostering a sense of responsibility for their conservation. Education, advocacy, and supporting organizations dedicated to marine life preservation are vital steps in ensuring the well-being and existence of orcas for generations to come.❤

Thank you for this documentary as I am very passionate about cetaceans of every size and shape. With all due respect as a Californian with family in the Seattle area and greater northwest and who grew up near the ocean my whole life marine biology is my passion I now live in Scotland and more specifically in Shetland where there are multiple pods around the main island and the inlet or :"voe" where my husband and I live in a house on a small peninsula at the edge of the land facing the North Sea and if there is one thing beat into my knowledge by former professors and fellow cetacean lovers it is that Orcas, commonly known as killer whales, are still classified as dolphins. Yes I realize they are very large but still listed as dolphins and commonly called whales Per the Ocean Conservancy, "While orcas are members of the marine dolphin family Delphinidae, their overall size is what sets them apart from others in their suborder. Today, if a dolphin reaches a size of more than 30 feet long, it may be referred to by some as a whale, but the rules of taxonomy still classify the orca as a dolphin." 🌊
