Democracy has worked great so far, until it got hijacked by the media and mass immigration.
Democracy is still best but it should be a democracy where only people who have been citizens for 30 years can vote, strict voter ID laws, maybe an intelligence test before voting.
Voting isn't some magical silver bullet "just get 100% voter registration and all the problems will magically disappear!".
Democracy is the only way to make laws which legitimately have at least half the people's approval. It's been very useful, but it needs to be tweaked to be more durable and less hijackable.
Think outside of the box man. Don't throw the baby out with the bath water. There is great potential in voting systems.
Immigration policies are often not set to a vote. Most people are against them so they have the representatives take care of them instead of having a referendum. They know that referendums lead to Brexits.
The original point of my post was that the people of the country should decide that countries immigration policy, since the government policies were meant to serve the people.
