A weakness of many RC ship models is the way they are used. THey run MUCH faster than one would expect a real ship would. Because when ships look so small, they are usually at a great distance from the observer, and APPEAR to barely move. BTW I have been a Professor of Naval Architecture for 40 years, and for those who care to know more, I could expand considerably on the thorny and unsolvable problem of how to make proper PROFESSIONAL ship models to run at the towing tank, and thus predict the behavior of the full scale ship.
Wow these look amazing, anybody know if they are converted kits and if so where to get them or whether they are scratch built. Im wanting to get into it as a new hobby and would love a destroyer like to this one.
